They’re gone! This 2026, I was eager for spring to arrive to determine if the red ants would reappear from their nest. They did not! Following several years of inactivity due to unsuccessful methods, I discovered Maxforce last fall 2025, as the nest was becoming less active with the approach of winter. With time running out before the ants dug in for the winter, I applied multiple small applications daily to three large separate nests on my extensive property. Although I observed reduced activity, the true test was to wait for spring. I am delighted to report that the ants have been completely eradicated and have purchased another bottle as a precautionary measure in case their relatives migrate to this area.

Works ok but need something else to keep ants from coming back
Did the trick for clearing out the fire ants, but only for so long, and since the ants had invaded the dishwasher, had to hand-wash for the three days it took for the bait to finally kill them all off, and then run a couple cycles of the dishwasher to get the bait residue out. Not useful for keeping the ants from returning--had to use a peppermint spray every-other day to finally keep them at bay for good.

Fire ant killer
Didn't work on my ants, however nothing else that I have tried killed them, they just moved to another area.
