Works so much better than the Gen1 version. I purchased two of the first generation. Horrible false negative rate on both. Gen2 doesn't have a similar issue. Very happy.

Doesn't work as a FIDO2/U2F as advertised. Software will not recognize the device for setup. Works ok as a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello and that is it.

Works great. My HP Onen Laptop did not come with a fingerprint sensor and I bought this because I prefer a fingerprint sensor to face recognition. It allows me to disable the laptop camera and iss fast and simple with no noticable errors. It works better than the built in sensor in my Acer.

The fingerprint reader works to unlock my windoze computer. It sticks out further than I anticipated, not like a low profile thumb drive. I just use it to log into windows. I use Sticky Password for web page log in's , and it logs me in to them just fine. I think it is a bit expensive, but it looked better than the cheaper ones I looked at. Windows did not recognize it immediately, but after pulling it out and sticking it back in a couple of times it did. Setting it up was very easy. I do really appreciate not having to type my password a dozen times everyday, so it is a winner for me.

Don’t buy this trash, it doesn’t work. Doesn’t scan the fingerprint properly and you’ll end up needing to sign in regularly after a few attempts anyways. The usb portion is also obnoxiously large. Who ever designed this device should be put out of business. Buy the tech mini instead from whoever makes that. I own a few of the tech minis and they work flawlessly every time. Buy for the laugh, then return a buy a real one.

The fingerprint recognition efficiency is not good; it works for the first few days, but then you have to register your fingerprints again because the device rarely recognizes them. The compatibility with Windows 11 is very good and installation is easy, however the product's efficiency leaves something to be desired.

Ordered this for Windows 11 login. Installation was seamless, Win 11 saw it right away. As for everyday use, I found unreliable results. If it recognizes your fingerprint the first time, it’s great. If it doesn’t, it may quit trying and you then need to use another login method even though Windows keeps telling you to try again until the failure limit is reached. Sometimes it will try again and work fine. Not sorry I bought it. I will keep using it. Perhaps this shall improve with Windows and driver updates.
