The BEST eye glass cleaner I've ever used (and I've use A LOT). My glasses are spotless after using this spray and cloth. There is absolutely no residue. This is my go-to from now on.

This is the best eyeglass cleaning kit I have bought. It was a little more expensive but well worth it.

The product works well. cleans your glasses. No complaint. Seems to works better than walmart's brand but not enough better to justify the price difference.

This eyeglass cleaner is distributed by Optisource, which sells eyeglass parts and sundry items to opticians. Crizal licenses their name to Optisource to print on the bottle. I think it's good to have a trusted brand name on the bottle before I spray it on my very expensive pair lenses. I'm totally satisfied with the product which is quicker and easier to use than soap, water, and a tissue. The microfiber cloth and cleaner will not harm the lenses and it does not leave soap film. According to the MSDS, the active ingredient is Isopropyl Alcohol: 9%, CAS 67-63-0. Crizal speaks about the use of alcohol to clean lenses on their website. I find conflicting information about the use of alcohol to clean their lenses; but, this cleaner is mostly water and, in my own opinion, won't cause any damage. I fault Amazon for not listing the ingredients and removing the button to report missing or inaccurate information about the product. More people should question what colorless, near-odorless liquid they spray so close to their eyes. The ingredients should be listed on the bottle but it's not. I had to track down the distributor for the MSDS and spent several days researching this.

I had been using the UltraVue gel lens cleaner fluid with some older Crizal cloths and it was fine for a while but it stopped being as effective after I had washed the cloths a few times in dish soap. I would have smudges sometimes that were tough to remove, whether just from skin or maybe skin lotions, and could not get them off. I also use the Zeiss Lens Wipes, and they too were not so effective in this situation. It could be that the batch I got didn't have enough fluid since it was a big bulk box and maybe dried out a little, but they were definitely still wet. In any case, new Crizal cloths definitely performed better but so does the Crizal fluid. Even with the old cloths, the fluid did better on these smudges. A while ago I was using my own mixture but it harmed the anti-glare coating on my glasses. Hopefully the Crizal will not. It says it is safe.
