Bestway 58237 Above Ground Pool Cleaning Vacuum & Maintenance Accessories Kit

I bought this kit for the stupid plastic nozzle that attaches to the intake so I can properly vaccum my pool. It should have came with the darn pool. That being said, I also figured I could use the rest of it I'm sure. The skimmer basket is fantastic! So for those peices alone it was worth the money. The suction has everything to do with the pump you have. We started using it with the pump that came with the pool and after fighting a battle with Algae decided to get the 2200gpm pump and filter for our 18' Coleman vista pool. Now all is right with the pool and not having anymore issues with anything. It's easier to vaccum as it has better suction, I dont have to try and find overpriced filter cartridges anymore, and the pool stays 99% cleaner. Update: After using it all season, the parts I bought it for are still fantastic, but I will say I had to keep patching the hose with duct tape just to get through the season. the hose is way too thin, and if drug even lightly over rocks or anything like that, it causes holes easily. Can you guess what I'm investing in next year??? Over all I'm glad I bought the kit, I know that separately sell the parts, but at the time I was purchasing, the kit was cheaper than the 2 things I used.

This is a great pool cleaning kit. There were people that complained about the suction power. Please understand, that the power section has virtually nothing to do with the pool cleaning kit. It has everything to do with your pump. If you are using the grossly undersized pumps that come with above ground pools, you will never successfully vacuum your pool. It's just simply not built well enough to filter your pool let alone use the vacuum attachment for cleaning. The other thing, some of the swimming pools have two inlets. When vacuuming your pool, you have to block off the second inlet for maximum suction power. Just a piece of plastic over the front of the second inlet is sufficient to block the water from flowing into that inlet. I have the Intex prism 14 ft by 42-in pool. I have an Intex Sand filtration pump system that does a wonderful job in keeping my pool clean. The pump that came with the pool is a backup in case of any issues, but I would never rely on that to clean my pool. Had that experience with my first above ground pool, and it took me a year to figure out what I needed to do, and that was to replace the filtration system. All that being said, my only complaint is the extension pole, very cheaply made. Other than that everything in the kit enabled me to easily hook up the vacuum and clean up the bottom of my pool. You will have to buy a brush head attachment as that does not come in this kit. Amazon has them for 15 to 20 bucks.

For the price it does get the job done however due to a few rather annoying flaws in the quality of material it does take longer. The debris container that holds the mesh net & captures the leaves & dirt comes as 2 pieces that you twist together. Unfortunately theres nothing that "locks" it so it doesnt come undone. Therefore while you vacuum, when you go in different directions or even just a back & forth motion, it becomes loose & will come apart releasing all the dirt & debris you just vacuumed. If you dont catch the top half of it before it reaches the surface it will suck air which then causes you to have to reprime the vacuum hose & pump to get the air out. Also the tubing isnt very strong/durable so if you have a decent pump sections of the tubing will colapse creating lack of circulation for vacuum to work properly. Overall though it did vacuum the leaves & larger debris as advertised.

All negative reviews I noticed complained about the pool cleaning kit not having proper fittings. You have to be smarter than the items inside the box to figure this out. If you took the time to read your pools owners manual / install instructions, you'd realize the plastic screen pump inlet fittings have a screw in them. Remove the tiny Phillips screw from the side of the fitting, then unscrew the plastic grate from the male nipple end that goes into the pool. Then the blue fitting for the kit threads onto that piece no problem. Make sure you submerge the entire house to remove any air, once doing so ensure you reconnect the hose under water to ensure no air re enters hose. If pressure is too low, you can plug the second pump inlet fitting with the rubber plugs from the pool kit or use Saran wrap or plastic to cover the screen. That doubles the suction and makes getting the finer stuff much easier. Vacuum head is nicer than expected as well as the pole. Much sturdier than the cheap one with my best way power steel 18' pool. I am using this with the power flow 1500 gph model. Strainer works excellent, but again, make sure no air is in the line or strainer when you make you connections or it will air lock and do nothing. When in doubt YouTube it, there's ten videos on this exact model walking you through it. I would've given it 5 stars but the instructions are just pictures with no detailed steps. So it could be easy to confuse if you had no experience or mechanical knowledge on this sort of stuff. Works way better than the smaller portable Telsa piece of crap I tried before this which was 90$ by itself. The next model up in the same brand is 139$ and don't include a pole even to use it. Considering everything your getting for 90$ I'd say it's got a much better value. The skimmer alone is gonna save you cleaning as often, and seems it actually sucks sand off the bottom of the pool you'll be done in half the time of a portable. Best bang for your buck in my opinion

We have an above ground pool and we struggled for two years trying to get the pool cleaned with a different vacuum. This vacuum allows you to connect to the filter from inside the pool as opposed to the filter itself. It is so easy to use and works great. We get the pool clean in no time. The vacuum connecting to the filter from inside the pool allows the hose not to fill with air which allows for great suction. Our pool has been so much cleaner and does the job quickly.

dans l'ensemble le produit est correct, cependant , le manuel ne sert strictement a rien, on y comprend rien, faut réfléchir et le monter sois meme pour ce qui est du ballait , pour moi il est un petit peut fragile , a voir dans le temps si ça va bien tenir tous ça, je pense que les fixations qui son en plastique ne vont pas tenir longtemps , va falloir mettre par la suite des collier en métal le plus compliquer est de réussir a immerger le tuyau d'eau de l’aspirateur au maximum car si il y a des bulle d'air et ça ne fonctionne pas. une fois les bulles d'air chasser, il fonctionne bien sur une pompe a sable de 6m cube heure, le petit sac était bien remplis l’épuisette , c'est de la camelote ,j'en est une autre qui est beaucoup plus professionnel le skimmer a l'air de bien fonctionner , un petit tourbillon se fait juste au dessus , donc il aspire bien je n'ai pas constater de baisse au niveau du débit , voir vidéo

Verpackung & Lieferung OK. Die Anleitung hat kleine Bilder, diese sind aber sehr gut und hat keine Übersetzungsfehler. Der Zusammenbau ist genau abgebildet. Es ist auch klar ersichtlich welche Anschlüsse für welchen Pool (Schraubverbindungenoder Steckverbindungen) zu verwenden sind. Tipp: Alles zusammenbauen und erst am Schluss die Verbindungen aufstecken, dann erklärt sich alles von selbst. Der Skimmer hat einen 38mm, die Sauger einen 32m Schlauch. Man muss jedes Mal umstecken wechselt man zwischen Skimmer und Sauger. Das ist für mich persönlich in der Preisklasse für Pool und Reinigungsset verständlich. Auch bei gleichem Durchmesser müsste man umstecken, die Schlauchlängen sind stark unterschiedlich, ca. 1m für den Skimmer und ca. 7m für den Sauger. Unsere Sandfilterpumpe hat einen Durchsatz von 4000l/h und leider keinen Vorfilter. Die Pumpe haben wir 1 Jahr vor dem Reinigungsset gekauft, nun würde ich eine Pumpe mit 6000l/h mit Vorfilter kaufen. Die 4m³/h reichen aus, mehr ist sicher besser. Der Skimmer funktioniert 1A. Wir haben an der Oberfläche keinen Schmutz mehr. Kleine Fremdkörper saugt die Pumpe früher oder später ein, der Filterkorb ist für kleine Insekten etc. zu grobmaschig. Ich bin schon gespannt ob der Filtersand trotz regelmäßigem Rückspülen durchlässig bleibt oder „verklebt“. Mit dem Sauger muss man langsam arbeiten. Man darf die Schmutzpartikel am Boden nicht aufwirbeln sondern muss den Sauger langsam bewegen. Das zusätzliche Filtersieb ist ein guter Indikator für den Erfolg. Wichtig: Den Schlauch vorher mit Wasser füllen, zumindest muss ich das tun sonst saugt die Pumpe einfach kein Wasser an. Man kann damit natürlich auch den Boden schrubben, aber beim schrubben werden zu viele kleine Partikel aufgewirbelt. Schrubben und Saugen sind 2 Arbeitsvorgänge. Tipp: den 32mm Schlauch für den Sauger extra dazu bestellen bei schwachen Pumpen. Den mitgelieferten Schlauch kann man leider nur einmal in der Mitte kürzen, nicht alle Meter wie es sonst üblich ist. Da ich einen 32mm Schlauch für das Rückspülen gekauft habe, verwende ich diesen und habe ihn auf 6m gekürzt. Davon verspreche ich mir weniger Reibungswiederstand im Schlauch und eine besser Saugleistung. Ich würde das Set jederzeit wieder kaufen.

Articolo arrivato con una puntualità pazzesca, ma ormai è un dato di fatto per Amazon, ma che non deve passare inosservato. per quanto riguarda il kit devo dire che è ben fatto lo skimmer è molto capiente e utile in quanto riesce a raccogliere la maggior parte dello sporco in superficie. L'aspiratore per il fondo piscina è veramente ben fatto e riesce a raccogliere anche i piccoli residui, l'unica consiglio è di collegarlo ad un filtro che non sia meno dei l/h consigliati in descrizione altrimenti farà fatica ad aspirare i piccoli residui per la poca potenza di aspirazione. Altro coniglio ad ogni pulizia con l'aspiratore pulite bene la retina presente sopra la bocchetta di aspirazione. Per ultimo ma non perché meno utile la retina raccogli foglie, una retina molto utile che riesce a raccogliere anche I picollisimi insetti che si posano a filo acqua. Non mi resta che augurare Buon pulizia a tutti!

this kit is amazing not overly impressed with the skimmer part but I have to say the vacuum works well. I mostly had silver birch confetti form the next door neighbour's tree I used my sand filter on re-circulation adding more power and wow it did not disappoint it sucked the lot up packing it all in a little net bag very impressive. If its mostly sand or dirt particles I used the sand filter on play mode and again it sucked the lot up leaving a very clear pool and as for the net the water flows past it very well leaving all the leaves in the net I highly rate this product and would definitely buy again.

This is a great vacuum for small pools. It is easy to assemble and connect to the water pump. The suction power depends on how strong your water pump is, and for small pools that means not a lot of suction power. However, it is adequate but you have to move it slowly and it works fine. Larger pools would require a long time to clean.
