Sheep's Milk White Cheese (Feta) – 2lb

I came across this and just thought I would try it. It is hard to find here and, if you do find it, very expensive, so 2 pounds at their price was worth a try. IMPRESSED with Shipping! Fast and inside a Styrofoam box (that can be reused) plus packed in ice packs! How good can shipping get? I opened the package, there was a large block of the white cheese and quite a lot of brine. ***Here I will make a confession, I am OCD (Obsessive Compulsive). So I put the block of cheese into a container (that I already knew the weight of) The cheese still came in at 2.03 pounds. Taste test: The brine did not taste too salty or bitter. This cheese has a real melt in your mouth deliciousness that surprised me. I will be ordering more for the holidays. This is a great quality cheese, with a nice soft texture and not so hard that I have to worry about denture problems. I highly recommend this.

Very good feta cheese.

A little nervous about ordering cheese online, but it arrived solidly packed and seal. Perfect shape. My sister-in-law from Bulgaria introduced me to block European feta. I had a love/hate with feta. Liked it but most brands had a very sharp bite. Tried the Bulgarian one and it was so smooth and mild that I ate it on crackers. I took a gamble ordering this and it turned out exactly like hers...delicious and great on crackers. So smooth and mild. If you think you know feta and all you've had is the famous American brands, you don't know feta.

Update: package wet, leaking with crack in container. Filed a return but Amazon says seller doesn’t accept returns.Issue probably caused by rough handling/ inadequate packing material. Wife inspected contents and pronounced the cheese ok so we are cancelling return request.

THIS SHEEP FETA ARRIVED IN GOOD TIME AND WAS IN GOOD CONDITION. IT COMES IN A FEW PIECES IN IT'S BRINE. IT TASTE MUCH BETTER WHEN IT IS LEFT OUT AT ROOM TEMPERATURE FOR IT'S TRUE FLAVOUR. I ENOY PUTTING SOME ON MY SALADS. HAVE YOUR BEST SHEEP DAY EVER!

The Feta cheese was well packaged, it was shipped promptly, and the cheese has a great taste. Amazon stated a delivery date of the 25th while the cheese arrived on the 13th. I had feared that because of the stated delivery time that it was coming from an international location but that was not the case as it was shipped domestically. I hope to order again.

Really good! Keeps well in the fridge.
