LOCK & LOCK Easy Essentials Food Storage lids/Airtight containers, BPA Free, 10 Piece - Square, Clear

I love these for storing alot of smaller things such as bulk spices. They stack perfectly on my wood utility shelves from a swedish homestore. I'm gonna provide some data because listings never have the info I need when researching! This container's code is HPL822D (1.2L/40oz/1.2qt) and the lids match both the Tall pantry (HPL822R 4L/135oz/4.2qt) and Medium pantry (HPL822B 3.6L/88oz/3.7qt) containers. I repeat: lids are the same and interchangeable!!! They are top rack dishwasher safe, but tend to handwash anyway (because its not that often with my storage purposes), so the plastic (#5 polypropylene) stays clear. The gaskets really keep the smell in and moisture out!! I keep smaller bags of stinkier spices like ground onion and garlic in the shorter sandwich version of this in the freezer (also has the 5.9" aka 6" square lid, depending who's writing the Product Description and if they include tab dimensions). Now that I'm expanding my savory ajowain/cumin/carom/jeera/caraway variety collection, I'll be using this set in the freezer to keep the similar seed shapes together, and other sweeter spices in their own container, plus the "spicy" spices together, and finally the store bought "blends" in the final container. With 4 in this pack, I have many more options to protect my flavor investement. Just watch that your frozen containers don't slip out onto the floor and crack!

lock well but does not tolerate heat well

I have 2 sets of lock & lock containers and I have to say, they are better than any of the others ones I've ever tried. They are very durable, wash well in dishwasher and the lids are made well. The locking system is unlike anything out there and they dont leak! I dropped one on the ground and chipped the corner and it stil works well. I loved my tupperware until I tried these and went "wow, these are awesome!" I bought this set for my mom for mothers day, great price and she was so excited to get them. The last time I shared some soup with her in one of these, she was like.. those are nice containers.

I can't think of a bad thing to say about these. The smaller sizes are perfect and the lid latching mechanism works easily. A good purchase.

Love Lock n Lock. They seal so well, keep food fresher much longer, can be put in microwave (no harmful chemicals) and in the freezer. I never put in dishwasher, always hand wash, they last so much longer this way. I have tons of this product in many sizes.

Good size. They lock well enough. Their major downside is they do not stack.

The lock and lock containers are a great investment. The sizes in this set are very convenient and it doesn't take up much storage space.
