Sons of Destiny

It was amazing. Just as the whole series it was unpredictable. And I figured what would happen at the end, but he did something that made it again unpredictable. I highly recommend this series. I have much respect for Darren Shan.

Great series

This series had one of the greatest endings i’ve read in a long time! Had to re-read the whole series since i stared it in 10th grade but never got to finish it. So glad i re-read the first couple of books and finished the series, overall worth it!

Love love love this vampire-based book series. I am a 58 year old female, however, I have always enjoyed "boy" type, action based fiction books as a reader. What I found about the entire Cirque Du Freak series, however, was that it was not JUST about being a vampire, or a member of a Freak Show. It teaches about loyalty and friendship; what a real 'family' is, even without the blood-relation. In fact, I was so smitten with this series (Mr Shan, are listening?), that I made a gift of all my books to a then 11-year-old friend, because I was confident there was little to no swearing of any consequence, no real sexual content, but a good wholesome and fun teaching story definitely well-worth my time and my young friend's. Hours and hours of good reading fun and miles of smiles afterward. I cannot wait to read more from Darren Shan.

For a while now the Cirque Du Freak has captured my imagination and been one of the best series i've ever read. It was exciting to start reading the last book and finaly find out the awnser to all my questions. I have to say as much as I like the Cirque series the 12th book slightly disapointed me. It wasnt a page turner like the rest and it seemed too predictable. What made me give it 4 stars was the ending I didnt like it very much. The other books were so good that I expected the ending to be a lot better.....too high expectations? maybe. Dont get me wrong though the book defenantly had its good parts but it seems to lack the "after shock" like the 11th book left on me. Although im not a fan of the ending to this beloved series I do recommend this book to fans because its not bad, just dont expect it to be great like I did. And who knows everyones different you might think its one of the best books yet. :)

What a surprise. First was about either vampire or vampanese win, then comes plot twist by Mr. Tiny, the reason of the catastrophe. Darren has to decide what is the best for him, Steve, and for his people and the world. It's great.

This was an amazing end to the series I have read for so many months but I have loved everything about it

I absolutely LOVE this series. My teenage daughter introduced it to me a few years ago. I just introduced my 10 year old to it. She loved it and wished there were more books to read. If a series can keep a 10 year old up in her bed for hours reading it, you know it's good. This series is an adventure and easy to read. Your child will love it and so will you. Buy it, you won't regret it.

if i could show one image to describe how the final book made me feel, id show that patrick meme from the spongebob movie. it shook me to the core. it made me question everything i just read before book 12. i said what so many times that macklemore took me to the thrift shop. do i recomend this series? YES YES 1000 times. this series will make you laugh, cry and be angry. you will grow close to charecters and not even know it.
