Bought for cheap DIY candles and theyre perfect! My recipe: In a jar add fine salt. Top with pink himalayan salt (coarse rock) 1/4" vegetable oil on top Float this wick on top, dip top in the oil first. Light! Lasts forever! Add another layer of oil occasionally and itll never end. I added cloves too, you can put whatever else in yours and be creative.

I love the flower shaped floating wicks. They always float. I purchased round ones that were thinner cork and they sunk before an hour had passed. 6 hrs later and these continue to burn.

This was my second container The first one cracked because the wick worked itself out to the outside of the mason jar and crack the top so now we have it in a sugar bowl with lots of crystals supporting the flower floating wick to keep it in the middle. That's why I only gave it four stars it could be bigger also it's very tiny it does burn a long time though 4 hours so far.

Work great except wick floats to side

This is an awesome product which makes any container you choose into a candle by adding only a small amount, such as 1/4" or so, of vegetable oil (which of course, floats to the top of the water). I use clear glass containers because they reflect more light, but you can literally use any bowl, deep plate, vase, etc. to make a candle. With a small glass bowl and 1/4" of canola oil, I created candles which burned for 5-6 hours. I ended up giving my 2 boxes to my kids to keep as an emergency supply item (since you can never have too many candles in Iowa where storms are fairly frequent and strong), so I need to order more already. They are just wonderful, and I am going to make sure my kids and I all have several boxes. Order these--you will not regret it!

Garbage. Each lasts maybe 5 seconds. If I could give these no stars I would.

Although these flowered disks and their wicks are small, the really do burn for a long long time. I used water in my mason jar and topped it off with a small amount of olive oil, and when the flame got smaller after many hours I just added more oil, and voila..the flame increased and kept on going. I lite mine at 10:30 a.m. and it was still lit around the same time in the evening. I had to blow it out,so I imagine it would have gone on for a while more.

I love these, they are the perfect size for my small red Greek Oil vigil glass cup that I purchased recently. They arrived today and it's been burning for hours. When I was a little girl I used to watch my Mother light them and when she passed away I bought one for her. In memory of my Mom. I plan to order more, the pack of two is an excellent deal. They arrived packed well, I recommend them.
