Excellent and very easy to install. If I had known it was this easy I wouldn't have used a locksmith as I had with prior issues.

I installed and returned 2 locks of the same type and style by other well known brands because I was not satisfied with the fit and feel. In both cases the installation was slightly tricky and revealed the cheapness inherent in these nice looking locks. I read up on the Baldwin Tobin and decided to purchase it as I believed the fit and finish would be superior than the other two. I was not wrong....this is a very nice product with great weight, finish, and feel. Do yourself a favor...stop the search and purchase this lock. Additionally the price is great as it is going for about $20 more elsewhere. I have this lock installed on my fire rated door between my house and my garage.

Really well built lock and I hope it lives up to Baldwin's reputation for the mechanical parts and finish. I just wish someone could have taken a little more time and written better instructions for the average homeowner looking to replace cheaper contractor grade locks with something better. And include instructions on how to change handle direction!

Old lock was the same model and it had simply worn out. Put the new lock in and everything is tight and working effortlessly once again. This lock maintains it's luster and doesn't corrode. But, any lock is going to get old over time.

I really like Baldwin locks, but this one is a bust. It was apparently a returned item, because the lock does not operate properly and the Allen wrench was missing. The key gets stuck in the lock and the inside knob will not move. I received this lock after previously installing quite a few Balwin locks without issues. I've installed lots of lock sets and know how to do it. This lock set is second, reject or just a defective product that should never have been sold. I can't return it because I'm past the return date due to we were in the middle of moving into a new home. Today was the first chance to install the door lock set. WARMING!! Open your products right away and make they are serviceable. Second, install the product as soon as you can. Get a return and make sure your complete a review to let others know the good and the bad. This seller is selling junk and getting away with it.

While Baldwin makes a great, quality product, I had to go to YouTube to learn how to switch the handles. The instructions provided are completely lacking. It's a shame as I would have given the product 4-5 stars.

Baldwin makes the best lock sets hands down for residential use. Kwikset and Schlage have poor quality units the pass off in Home Depot and Lowes. I had issues with a door sticking because the bolt didn't fully retract. After trying two Kiwksets and a Schlage, the Baldwin fixed the issue. These units fully retract the bold inside the channel and my door operates perfectly again. Build quality is also very high.
