you have this listed as 8 speed but upon checkout is shows 7 speed??

I bought one 2 years ago and it was a 7 speed....same model number but listed as a 7 ring cassette. If you count the sprockets in the picture...there are only 7.....don't what you might get, mine was 28t

will this cassette fit on and replace the original cassette on my 1996 Gary Fisher Zebrano?

I'm not 100% sure because I don't know your bike, anyway according to http://www.bikepedia.com/quickbike/BikeSpecs.aspx?Year=1996&Brand=Gary%20Fisher&Model=Zebrano&Type=bike it has the same number of gear (7) and of of teeeth : 11-28. On my bike this cassette is working very well. good luck

Can I use this for diamondback hook 2015, 27.5

I am not using this on a mountain bike, however it works ok on my 1x road bike on which I use a front derailler to keep the chain from falling off.
