So far I've only used the Flitz polish, but I'm writing this review because I'm amazed at how well it worked on my nickel plated revolver. The powder always leaves black residue on the nickel that doesn't clean off with the solvent etc, and this stuff takes it right off and leaves the nickel bright and shiny like it's supposed to be. I can also say that the microfiber cloth that comes with this set is also very impressive. Most are thin cloth, but this one is very thick and nice, worth buying.

Wow, what a difference this makes on a gun. I bought a used Walther PPK (S&W) and it looked ok after spending a lot of time cleaning. I just thought that some of the blued areas of the frame and slide were dull because of it being old and excessive use on the range. I bought this stuff to use on my 1911 as recommended by a friend and it did quite a good job polishing and smoothing out the rails. I decided to try this on the Walther PPK and what a night and day difference. Thing almost looks brand new!!! Great product! Attached a picture so you can see my giving a thumbs up from the reflection of the slide which was once pretty dull.

This stuff is wonderful. I use the polish on my polished carbon steel knives. It works fantastically. My father died recently, and he had an old bowie knife that had some rust and oxidization on it. After using the cleaner, and then the polish. All of the rust was gone, and 95% of the oxidization stains were gone. If would have given it a little more time, and another pass with the polish I have no doubt all of the oxidization would be gone. Now for the most important part. I have a damascus steel knife. It's the only one I have, and it was a little expensive. I've been doing all I could to keep it clean and oiled...but I knew I'd need to clean it better sooner or later. I was really worried about the patina being removed, and having to send it in to get re-etched. I took a chance on this stuff though. I sprayed the cleaner on it, and scoured it with 0000 steel wool very gently. It brought the shine out of the softer metals fantastically with hurting the patina of the etched carbon steel. So I was relieved and thrilled. As for the wax. The wax is wonderful. It does very well at protecting the blades of the knives. It also doesn't hurt the patina on my damascus blade either. I simply wiped the blades down with a microfiber cloth and some of the wax. For my damascus blade I was more gentle of course. So these are fantastic products, and I'm seriously happy with this brand. I'm glad I bought it.

This a good product, enclosed in a reusable package and it has everything you need. I used it for polishing nickel, and it worked great! The tube is easy to use especially for its intended purpose, small jobs. It's easy to control and despense, much better than a can of compound. The wax is used the same way, and is also very easy to use. I didn't used the cleaner. It's in a little spray bottle.

If you like guns or eve if you just own one; FLITZ is something you NEED to have on hand. this stuff works better than I thought it would. I only buy FLITZ now!

Flitz is good for both knife and gun care. Great kit, for cleaning, polishing, and protecting against rust and corrosion. If you spend good money on a knife or gun, it makes sense to take good care of them. I have a pretty good knife collection, and I use this on all of them, to keep them all clean and shiny, and to keep the water damge away.

Just buy a tube of Flitz polish. I'm not crazy about the other two products. The cleaner isn't exactly high performance. The wax is not quite what I like to use. However Flitz is top notch. Excellent for polishing a variety of surfaces. It works very well and without excessive buffing. The kit also includes a microfiber towel. It is a great polishing cloth, but totally unremarkable from others that I already own. In the end... if I run out of the polish I will buy it again. If I run out of the other two products it was because I spilled them but would not replace them.
