Nintendo Game Boy Advance - Limited Edition Platinum (Renewed) [video game]

For refurbished GBA consoles, my expectation was for a worn finish, maybe a scratch or two on the screen, used but working. Instead the 2 GBA's I got were practically brand new. No scratches, only slight edge wear on the paint on one and no wear on the other, and tight like-new button action. Both power switches are perfect. I'm modding these with laminated ITA screens, which is almost a shame b/c they're in such great condition. But the original GBA screen is pretty much worthless (not lit).

Works amazingly well. Just like i remember as a kid. Solid and durable.

Okay but its white. I can fix the buttons and stuff, its alright. probably gonna get it backlit

As of just getting today April 1st, it these issue. 1) the link port looks to be corroded, the face inputs are stiff, not recommended for children hands and the shoulder buttons, is more like "I can't tell if they work or it's just me. But other than that it works, the speaker is good, as well as the screen has no issues other than the obvious for this model. So I would technically give it between 2 to 3 stars neither of 2 but neither or 3. But because of that Link cable port being corroded I will have to give it 3, because I got this to use the Link cable with my other GBA, as well as a GameCube link.

I am very upset with this purchase. I bought this item for my son for Christmas. I can understand the mild surface damage, after all it is used. However, the seller says the item was renewed and working perfectly. The back light on the screen does not work at all. So i have a black and white handheld gaming system that you have to have a flashlight directed onto the screen to be able to see it at all. Very upset with the seller and with Amazon for allowing people like this to sell.

It looks new unfortunately I have to return due to cartridge issue.

Minor scratches on case. So far appears to be working as expected.

I got this today, and I love it, brings me back to when I was a little kid, people complaining about the screen, forget this is an old console, it was good when it came out. Came in almost perfect condition.
