Had my doubts, but very impressed with this product had about a 2 inch crack use this, and I was amazed to see how well it worked the crack hasn’t totally disappeared, but I would say it’s about 90% gone. You can only see it on a glare with the sun at a certain angle. Very impressed with this product well by again.

I used this kit on a small rock chip in my windshield, and it noticeably reduced the crack’s visibility. The instructions were easy to follow, and the repair only took a short time. I’m giving it 4 stars because it doesn’t make the damage completely disappear, especially if the chip is deeper or older. Still, it’s a cost-effective solution that can help prevent the crack from spreading. Overall, I’m satisfied with the results.

This stuff is the bomb!!! Just take your time and go slow as you can, clean the area as soon as you can, and as best as you can, slowly add the resin, put on the curing strips in the within 10 or so minutes it was dry enough to remove the curing strips and scrape off the excess resin. The crack is just barely noticeable in one small area. I highly recommended it. I purchased another one just to have one on hand. It works extremely well, again just take your time. Follow the instructions will be. Glad you bought it!

I used the Rain-X 600001 Windshield Repair Kit on a windshield crack, and it worked okay, but it wasn't quite as quick and easy as I expected. I had to repeat the process multiple times before I was satisfied with the results, and the crack was still somewhat visible afterward. In my experience, the resin itself seemed to do most of the work, while the included applicator tool was a bit cumbersome to use. I actually found it easier to focus on getting the resin into the crack than relying on the tool setup. That said, it did help improve the appearance of the damage and may help prevent the crack from spreading further. For small chips and cracks, it's worth trying before paying for a professional repair, just be prepared to spend some extra time and possibly apply it more than once.

I’ve ordered this a couple times now. I wouldn’t say it’s easy to use but it seems to work. Definitely worth it to avoid the cost of a new windshield. The first crack I had in my old car held up for years without spreading any more. I eventually sold that car and now I’ve also used this on a chip/crack on my new car which has held up for a few months so far. I haven’t been able to get the resin into the chip/crack to a point where it all “disappears” as the instructions say (it did in some parts but not others) but even so, it’s seeming to work. Repairing the cracks was an easier process than the chips IMO. Make sure you can get your car in the sun or have a UV light in order to cure the resin. Also be prepared that this will take time. You will do one step, wait, do the next step, wait, etc.

I grabbed this for my old SUV because paying the glass shop every time a rock hits the windshield gets old fast. Used it on a chip on the passenger side, about the size of a dime, from a weekend soccer run with the kids. The instructions are simple enough if you read them once before starting. i liked that the resin actually filled the little star lines so they barely catch the light now. I just parked in the garage, set up the little applicator, and gave it time to cure. It will not make a crack disappear like magic, but for small chips it works well and keeps me from scheduling another repair visit.

The product works and does what it's supposed to do. I'm convinced that anyone who says it doesn't work is more likely referring to a procedural error than a product problem. Here are a few things I can suggest: 1. Apply the product as soon as the crack appears in the glass. My glass broke on Monday, and by the time I bought the product and it arrived, I applied it on Saturday (5 days after the crack). Even the instructions themselves say not to wait too long. 2. Clean the glass (of dirt, grease, dust) before starting. I used isopropyl alcohol, but regular 70% alcohol should work. Don't apply the resin in direct sunlight. 3. Be patient. The secret is getting the resin into the tiny crack in the glass, so be patient. Apply it a few centimeters at a time, allowing the resin to seep into the crack. You should check the seal while sitting inside the car, where small air bubbles will form, and gently touch the glass to help the resin penetrate. Again, be patient. 4. Finally, apply more resin and the clear patches and let it dry in direct sunlight. About 30 minutes should be enough. 5. Smooth the patches and any remaining resin with the included blade. Hold the blade at a 90° angle (don't tilt it) and again, be patient. I'm more than satisfied with the results. My crack is over 12 inches long, and it worked perfectly. One package contains enough resin.

As a night-shift nurse I bought this to fix a rock chip on my windshield so I would not be stressing driving home at 7 a.m. The kit sat on my counter for a week, then one afternoon before work I finally used it. I followed the little booklet step by step and finished everything in under half an hour. The resin pulled right into the chip and that thin crack that used to catch my eye on the highway is now hard to spot unless I lean in. What really made me glad was seeing that the crack has stayed the same size for weeks, so I stop worrying about the glass suddenly getting worse on the freeway when I am half asleep.

Das Ergebnis war gut. Ich habe die Anweisungen im YouTube-Video befolgt und keine UV-Lampe verwendet. Ich habe tatsächlich nur fünf bis sechs Tropfen benutzt. Hoffentlich brauche ich es später nicht mehr. :)

leggere e seguire alla lettera le istruzioni anche se in inglese ci sono le figure e sono facili da capire ma devi seguire passo passo e devo dire che ho risparmiato un bel po ottenendo lo stesso risultato dei piu illustri riparatori di parabrezza al prezzo di una pizza e birra con tro le 100 e piu euro chieste da altri. che dire soddisfattissimo grazie

I have fixed about 3 X windscreens with this tool kit. I have been able to remove 95-99% of stone chips which have been rather quite large. Used this product which was easy to use and satisfying to see the end results. It's a great feeling when avoiding a massive $$$ replacement bill for a new windscreen
