Exactly what I Needed
We live in a lake and recently had a ton of derbis wash up under our dock. I ordered this hook because it had more dull tip rather than the standard pointed/sharp ends. It worked perfectly for standing on the dock, easily hooking up to downed tree limbs and debris and move it to a better place to dispose of it all. Hook was perfect! Liked it so much, I bought a second for my neighbor and now we’re happy campers! Worth the money, exactly as expected (maybe even better!) and will last us a long time and a lot of debris pulling! Definitely recommend. It’s a great size (sits on the palm of an adult hand well) and due to the ends noting being sharp, I can quickly latch on and unhook from whatever I need to.

My son loves it
My son wanted a grappling hook for Christmas and this was the only non-sharp one I could find!

Ease of use
Im using this grappling hook to pull pond weeds to the edge of pond. Works well. If it had 4 hooks instead of three it would weigh a bit more and would grab more weeds each time i use it. Overall works vey well.

Bent upon First Use
Not for heavy duty use. Prongs bent upon first use. Fine for light duty tasks.

Basic Grappling Hook
I mean, there is not a lot to this. It is a simple, sturdy steel grappling hook. I am "guessing" that the bend/break point on it is anything over 100 pounds hanging off it, but that is simply an estimate. I would not use it for personal safety. I use it on my boat to grab various flotsam and jetsam I want to remove or retrieve from the water.

Works for what I need
I use this to pull tree branches out of pond and creek. Tied to rope nothing huge but it works.

Just what I needed
I needed a small-ish hook to throw up into a a tree so that I could remove a branch that had fallen and gotten stuck during a recent storm. This hook did the trick. It was light enough to throw it high. But, not so big that it required more strength than I have. The branch was reasonably light weight and not too entangled in other branches, so I can't really speak about the hook's durability. Though, the hook kept its shape throughout my retrieval of the broken branch. I will use this hook again the next time I need to grab a branch I can't reach from the ground.

The price flucates, but for the 15 dollars I bought this for it is perfect. I use it in my boat for snagging the dock or other boats. It is the right weight to cast pretty far with a line and strong enough to pull in a boat. Perfect and practical for light use, but I would guess not strong enough for moving logs use with a tow strap..

I bought as part of my magnet fishing kit. Went out and used the first time. Works great easy to use. Only issue(minor) is that the rope could be a bit longer but great value for the cost.
