Hi Depends on the flame height but about 10 hrs. burn time . Hope this helps.

Does this lamp come with the oil ?

No, you need to buy lamp oil separately

Does the outside get hot? Could you pick it up and move it with your hands with the wick lit?

The glass remains cool. Certainly you can touch it. HOWEVER: The obvious note of caution, if you plan to move a lit flame around (it takes but a moment to blow out, and relight for carrying any distance). I add the caution, because you would not want to drop the lamp. Glass breaks if dropped from any height, at which point you would have a burning wick landing in a puddle of highly flammable oil… Best to extinguish before moving.

How high is the candle?

By the height of the candle, do you mean the height of the flame? If so, then this is determined by how much of the wick you leave protruding. I want to add a photo of the instructions included - but I cannot. It shows that the flame can vary from about 1 - 2 cm, including the wick holder. The lamp itself is approx 5 cm in height. I have the flame set around the 2cm mark - which seems to look right, in proportion to the glass.
