LAMY Safari Rollerball Pen, Yellow (L318)

I think this is the fifth or sixth Lamy pen i own. I'm here's what I like about it, the quality I've never met a pen by this brand that didn't work or gave me a hard time. No matter which you choose ballpoint roller ball or fountain pen you will get a great experience regardless which pen you choose. There's some who made disagree with me and that is OK I am giving you my opinion and I love smooth pens I also appreciate the ones that are dependable. That would be this it is great looking and performs well I get lots of compliments on it. I highly recommend it and I am satisfied

I have owned this pen for several years and can attest to this pen's quality and longevity. The Lamy rollerball cartridges are not my preference, but you can use Pilot G2 refills inside of this pen (by adding something to fill the gap in the back of the pen, G2 cartridges are shorter.) If you are thinking about buying this pen, you won't regret it--whether you use Lamy or Pilot G2 refills. You will have a superb writing experience.

I've been thinking about getting a Lamy for many years and very pleased that I finally did! The ink is so smooth, great line size slightly thicker than standard. It really makes writing a pleasure - I love using it for cards and notes to send to friends. I'm left handed and haven't had issues with smearing. The pen body is beefy and has a great feel to hold - the design is classic and uniquely attractive yet simple. Anyone that's tried it has been impressed as well. Would be a great gift for anyone that loves writing or doodling.

I have several Lamy pens and for me, they're outstanding writing instruments. My Lamys include roller ball, ballpoint, pencils, and fountain pens, and all are well made and quality items. I have only one complaint about this pen, and it has nothing to do with the pen or how it's made. As many others have pointed out, the rollerball refills for the pen are very prone to skipping, which is definitely NOT a good thing. And also like others, I figured out how to use the hack to change the Lamy refills for the excellent Pilot G2 rollerball refills. It's relatively easy to do, and when changed, voila! You have exactly the buttery smooth writing experience you expected from the Lamy. I don't get why Lamy can't seem to get their act together on the refills, as their refills are propietary to the pen and they cost a lot more than the Pilot refills, which are head and shoulders better. Fix the problem, Lamy! Your loyal fans know you can do better.

Decent Pen, but overpriced. It's a plastic pen and it costs $20? The refill that came with it did not last long at all. If it had been $8 or $9 I would have rated it higher.

I love these pens and have several including some knock-offs. This is one of the most comfortable pens to hold, no matter the variant. I just wish they came with better packaging as these are something to be presented rather than just given to someone. The yellow is bright and absolutely hits that retro vibe.

Fortunately my seller happened to be a genuine one and sent a genuine rollerball pen . The pen looks so bright and fabulous and writes so smooth , I forgot the pain of paying 2100/- for a rollerball pen . The delivery comes in its original case and it is worth the price seeing the quality of the material . I received a made in German Pen . Thanks Amazon for providing such a fantastic pen .

I love the yellow color - It does feel a bit awkward to use since it's not rounded. I still like it though.

The pen was dismantled and only parts of it arrived. The ink was also either used up OR dried up.

Very poor quality. The box is damaged. The part of the pen is not even straight.
