Owen and Lukas were too cute! Lukas was serious when he went after Owen. I loved their journey. Good book! Can't wait for Vaughn's story.

I like reading about the "frowned upon" love matches as opposed to forbidden love stories. By frowned upon I'm referring to best friend's brother, little bother's best friend, and Dad's best friend. In this first book in the Blackwater Pack series the story focuses on an Omega attracted to his best friend's older brother. Actually the attraction becomes mutual after the Alpha realizes that Omega has grown up while he was away at college. But still he hesitates. He's always considered the Omega his "kid" brother and it felt odd looking at him in a different light. Until the forbidden dance showed him the Omega was no "kid". But the Alpha had an even bigger hang up - his dangerous job. He'd seen the effect on his Omega Dad from worrying about his Father in whose footsteps he'd followed. Worrying if his Father would return home each time he left was not something he ever wanted to subject a significant other too. This caused some major problems with him - he never moved past causal hookups. When his younger brother's friend returned to Blackwater something changed. No matter how much he fought it though he couldn't deny his attraction. Yet he was determined not to hurt someone because of his job. To bad that plan didn't work out. Something I noticed which I thought was odd is that it seemed at times that there might have been a Prequel to this first story. Situations were spoke about as if the reader should be aware of what was going on. It was a bit disconcerting.

This is a short MM werewolf novel, soft and fluffy with some angst for the characters, but not much else. This is almost strictly sweet romance, with some other elements dispersed along the way, just to add a little extra outside angst. In this particular story, it’s a younger man who fell in love with his best friend’s older brother, back when he was still a teenager. How they finally get together is your spicy story. It’s placed in an Omegaverse where male omegas get pregnant and give birth. Suitable for a short interlude into the romantic world of shifters. Save it for brief periods, such as lunch breaks, or waiting rooms. I can honestly say it’s a bit of enjoyable fluff.

I like the story very heartwarming good characters liked the way the story took you on a journey Hope the rest of the series is just as good

It's a typical romance novel. They meet, have some angst about liking each other. Then they hook up, have some angst that pulls them apart. Then they get together for good, only to have outside angst effect them. It's a tried and true formula. That being said, it was a fast paced glossed over version of the same old story. There was a lot of room here for expanding on aspects of the plot line and opportunities for character development that were missed. Still worth a read though.

I know it sounds trite to say but the story is heart warming but this one is certainly that way . What more can I say.

I would recommend this book to everyone I love this book I chose this rating because it was worth it

Okay so obviously this book is a spin off from another series. It doesn't seem like you really need to read the first series to get this, but there's definitely some backstory. This was a little on the angsty side for what I usually prefer, and I'm really not into second chance plots, but the book was super well written and I'll pick up the second (and maybe even the first series) to read.

Oh que cette histoire fût magnifique, intense et terriblement passionnante ! Je me suis littéralement régalée et je ne peux que le conseiller !! Lukas est adorable, simple, bon et définitivement amoureux du grand frère de son meilleur ami. Il le veut et l'a toujours voulu ! Owen vit difficilement le fait de faire souffrir son âme sœur à cause de son travail alors la seule chose à faire pour lui, c'est d'éloigner Lukas mais commence alors des jours de souffrance pour tous les deux ! Owen se reprend et se met à reconquérir Lukas et enfin nous partageons leur très belle histoire. Ah l'amour, qu'est-ce-que c'est beau !!

4.5 stars. The epilogue was a bit too sweet for me but overall Claimed by My Protector was a good read. Despite the minute amount of shifting in this book I'll definitely be reading the next installment.

This author is new to me and I love this series it's filled with drama and suspense. It's about a shifter family fighting for territory while hiding from love. This was an easy 5 stars from me.

This was a nice book. Some fun moments, a little drama, a lot of heat, made for a good story. I liked both Owen (even if I could have kicked his butt sometimes) and Lukas. Sweet story of friends to lovers with its ups and downs. Enjoyable and easy to read

This book definitely had all the feelings it was quite an emotional story to read I was hooked from the start
