Fiskars 12 Inch LED SureCut Folding Rotary Paper Trimmer (154470-1002)

I am loving my new paper trimmer! This is the first item I have purchased through Amazon Warehouse Deals and I am certainly not disappointed! The product arrived in 2 days was well packaged and undamaged even though the actual product box was dented and dinged, it was not moving in the Amazon box with air pockets. So far I have only cut lightweight cardstock and it has cut like butter. The blade track is aluminum so it doesn't bow when you make a cut leaving a straight cut!! The LED cutting light is a nice added touch. I like the full extended deck of the cutting board. The only thing I think could be better is the grip the rubber feet have on my table top. It grips but I thought it would grip better. So far I am loving this paper trimmer and would defiantly recommended it to a friend. I also recommend to check out Amazon Warehouse Deals!

Great product. Folds in half for storage, and has a light on the line right where the blade passes, not that it's absolutely necessary with all the horizontal and vertical measurements on the face. I've used this little gadget for neater scrapbooking, to cut escort cards for my wedding, and a dozen other little projects where I wanted a nice clean cut. My escort cards came out so nice and sharp my fiance thought I had them done professionally! I do occasionally have to go over the cut with two passes of the blade, especially with heavier cardstock, but it's not a big deal.

I love this Paper trimmer. It cuts smooth and easy. The light helps me see what I'm doing. It is perferct for what I wanted it for. I do a little crafting and scrapbooking but, I really wanted it for cutting my coupons that I print out. It does a great job and the coupons come out perfect. What more can I say about this item except it's a great little Paper Trimmer I highly recommend it.

First of all, I received the item in a "damaged box" where I think it had been returned before. When I opened the box, there were NO instructions how to work the light and when I figured it out, the light did not work. I took out the screws to see where the batteries go and when I opened the back to see if it had batteries, the electrical wire attached to the metal piece was broken off. No wonder the light did not work. I also did not received one of my items with my order. This is the WORST Amazon has ever done. FISKARS, this is a really bad idea w/the light. Also, when I went to go cut my paper, I had to press down so hard on the rotary blade that it actually hurt my wrist because it was not cutting properly and so I replaced the old blade, (which looked like it had been used). I'ved used many FISKARS cutting boards in the past and have been pretty well pleased, with the exception of the "wire cutting boards" Every one I've had, the wire has broke and then I'm out all that money b/c they don't have wire replacement.

The LED is more of a work light than a cut line (as I had wanted). While the board appears to be very good quality, the cutting mechanism seems a bit "clucky" to me. while it's perfectly effective, it's no better than other paper cutters I've used. Since I got it at the $28 price point, I guess I can't complain too much. At it's original $42 price, it would have been a rip off and probably returned for a "regular" paper cutter. Regardless, I'm disappointed in the LED function. I really thought I'd have an edge on cutting accuracy over other cutters. Oh well. It's a paper cutter that folds away for storage.

This is my first Rotary trimmer and I love it. It folds in the middle for storage, but opens to 12 plus inches which is a very nice feature. I don't usually cut more than 2 or 3 papers at a time and it works great for that. There is a light under the cutting mechanism, I don't find it that helpful as the light shines just there and not outward toward the paper you are cutting, which might be helpful. But I didn't buy it for the light. The one thing that is a little bothersome is that you lose the measurement lines between 6-1/8 and 6-5/8 inches because that's where the surface folds under. This doesn't usually cause me a problem since I am cutting cards which measure 5-1/2 inches wide, so it works great for my needs.

This is a smart cutter. Folds in 2 for easy transport. It's very accurate. The LED lights help ensure that. Lightweight, but feels solid. I am using it in a pretty high-volume print shop and it does the job. Very pleased.

Like the durability and clean cuts for multiple sheets and different kinds of material. Not sure how much can trust the ruler if looking for precision down to micromillimeter

Have been using this for awhile now. At first when I opened the box it appeared that someone had used it before I received it (cuts on the board, and evidence of paper around blade area). Regardless needed to use it to make raffle tickets for local fundraiser. My usage has been on normal copy paper - usually can cut through 5 sheets if I run the blade over twice - have to place a bit of force to ensure it will cut through. Once you get the hang of it, it's great. Like the fact there is grid lines that help to keep paper straight so you can cut straight. Don't see much use in the light option, so don't use it. Over all - impressed and happy.

That it only had inch measurement and no centimeters. I assumed it would have both in this day and age as it is shipped worldwide. I wish I had looked closer.
