Works with motioneye
Works great for a raspberry pi based security system using motioneye. It's just a simple usb webcam with IR the marketing on this listing overhypes the camera a bit.

Excellent Usb Camera and can be use for many applications. Plug an play, no driver required. Can be connect to an USB extensiรณn of 100 ft and work very well and consistency, then to the computar or other.

Great Camera for basic needs!!
I am really surprised at the quality of this dome camera because it plug and play. The setup was easy just find a USB port thatโs 2.0 and plug in. This camera can be used for desktop PC or laptop. The camera does not have sound. The dome camera can record footage and save it to the hard drive of whatever PC is being used. This camera can be used for cctv, childcare monitor, or serve as home security indoor and outdoor. The camera comes with screws just in case a person wants to mount the camera. The only down side is because it is only plug and play this particular camera cannot be accessed remotely. So sad that there is no app for me to use with this camera remotely. Other than that this dome camera is awesome for its quality and features for just a plug and play camera

The Plug-In Play did not WORK
I unpacked the camera and plugged the USB cord into my computer but a prompt for the plug-in play feature never worked. The box did not include any instructions and the box did not have any additional instructions. The product does not work so I cannot review it.

lol what night vision
Great camera for day time and low light, however once it gets dark outside its pitch black other then whatever is reflective. You will need to buy a separate IR illuminator or leave lights on to see anything. Comes with long cord I have it hooked to my pc out my window and in the corner of my house with like 3ft to spare. Just download a free video viewing app(not the one they recommend) and boom your in business. This is great if all you want is one camera and keep your porch lights on at night, but if you plan on buying 2 or more just buy a whole system with 4-8 cameras for under $400, their night vision actually works good enough.

Great once you get one that works.
The first one I bought stopped working after 2 days. I exchanged with a new one and have had no problems since (several months now). Works just fine for my purposes.
