D'Addario Hydrate Fingerboard Conditioner

Fabulous hyadrater indeed & i must say it's a must have for rosewood fingerboard/close to/similar like pau ferro guitar owner.

A must use product for all those who love their guitars and want to hold on to their favorite guitars for life. Eventually, the unpolished surfaces and even the polished ones start to dry up, lose their moisture, develop cracks and finally lose their tonality all together. If you want to keep your guitar's fretboard and bridge young forever, this is the product to go for. Only for the dark colored unpolished wood. Use very little. Just about 4 to 5 drops for the entire fretboard and the bridge. It makes your fretboard looking like fresh chocolate!

First thing I noticed is that the liquid had leaked in very small amounts from the bottle upon arrival. Seems the lid was not tightly fitted on it. Also it's not a spray bottle unlike what is mentioned on the product page. It smells like WD40. I applied it (just 4 - 5 drops overall using a cotton cloth) on my Samick Electric guitar fretboard which is of rosewood. It looks a bit like new now. See the photos. Before and After. There's no big change, but after application the board looks bit more darker and smooth. Also the dirt that was trapped at the corners of the frets is now gone. Overall ok product but being imported it's bit more expensive here. I am not a professional Guitar Player or a musician, so I have no idea if it's really really beneficial in someway. But I am happy that my fretboard now looks clean and bit more darker than earlier. As a precautionary measure, after application, (even if you do not actually come in contact with the liquid) wash your hands with soap as the product is harmful if swallowed.

It shines the fretboard very nicely.

Very costly as compared to quantity. Just 59ml.
