So far has been a great tool. Blades last longer than the blue Jonard one. Better cut when slitting. Will recommend.

It is easier to use than the competitor's equivalent; no disassembly needed for mid-sheathe use. It is also more comfortable in the hand.The spare blades and maintenance tool included are a nice bonus that isn't included from the competitor.

I build a bunch of polygon fiber hubs and terminals for towns all over the place. For 2 years now I have been using the Jonard slitter and it’s not bad but the blades don’t stick out far enough and does t always slit through to make opening the fiber easy. This tool cuts straight through the strength members and opens the fiber up to the buffer tube with no issue. If you need the strength members intact be careful.

By far the best flat drop stripper I’ve used! Just works every time with clean cuts.
