1475T Professional High Capacity Scale 1200g Max - Gram Ounce Modes - Precision Digital Pocket Scale - LCD Display - Detachable Tray - Japan Technology - Batteries Included - Tare Function

I bought this scale for the purpose of brewing coffee with my french press, where I like to weigh coffee and water down to the gram. After about a month of nearly daily use, I've found it to be perfect for my needs. The scale is very small, about the same size as an iphone 6 (but not as thin, obviously). The weighing platform is just big enough for my bodum 4-cup press, which has a carafe that is 4" in diameter. I use a small coaster on the weighing platform so the press doesn't slip off. The important part is that this scale goes up to 1200g, which is enough to weigh the press fully filled with water. In person, it's grey-colored and not black like the picture appears...no big deal to me. I also like its industrial, laboratory aesthetic. The scale says "Made in Japan," which I've read is becoming increasingly rare for Tanita scales. There might be zero difference between Chinese and Japanese-made versions, but I still like it when a product is manufactured in its own country. It runs on 3 LR44 batteries, which are inexpensive, but I would have preferred if it ran on AAA or AA batteries because I have plenty of rechargeable ones. The up-side is that LR44s are tiny and let the scale be very low-profile. Time will tell how long they last... Also, the scale I received has "OZ" permanently printed next to the scale, not "g." I assume it's because ounces is more understandable to the american market. You can weigh in grams, but there is no "gram" or "g" label shown on the scale. Overall, I'm very happy with this scale, highly recommended.

tal como lo describe muy buen vendedor y rapida la entrega

Came early , worked perfectly . I eve been using these scales for years , my old one lasted about 12 years , so I couldn't be upset when it broke.

Lo que buscaba

Purchased 2 types. This one is not very good. The register is very small and very poor. I would go with the other tanita model

They are Good but only have tenths, (9.5); but we need tenths and hundredths, (9.56), because they are made to weigh gold.

Hello, the product usted good.

I needed to confirm some weights pertaining to currency and jewelry - this did the job just right

Ponen que pesa joyeria y realmente no sirve para eso, la devolución es con costo y pagando los impuestos, por lo que tuve que quedarme con una báscula que no funciona para lo que promete

Great product..... high quality... Worth buying from Amazon...;-) Super happy...!
