Superb quality, very comfortable, great for wide feet
My feet are very flat, with no arch, very wide, and I have bunions. You can imagine how difficult it is for me to find footwear that fits, and is comfortable. After reading another review about these boots, I was convinced to pay the higher price compared to the cheaper brands that were similar in appearance, due to the wide width. To say the least, it was a wise decision.I bought size 11, as I normally wear, and they fit great. From the moment I slipped these boots on, I could not believe how perfect the fit was for my horrible feet. The width is perfect, the arch/footbed is perfect, the tightness around the leg and ankle is perfect. The materials inside are soft and comfortable (I wear thin, technical socks)Aside from the fit, the materials and construction are fantastic, as well. The sole pattern and material offer good traction and support. The outer boot material itself is strong, sturdy, and does the job of keeping the water out. The "flex" material around the back of the boot which is supposed to aid in putting on and taking off the boots seemed to help a little, and also added a bit of flex when walking on uneven terrain. There are some extra pieces of rubber material attached to some areas of the outside of the boot which adds stiffness and support to the structure. That is a really nice touch, and I also felt like it added some protection from vines, roots, and other things that you might snag your foot on.The inside of the boot is very comfortable; I did not find any spots that poked my feet and did not have any pressure points or tightness anywhere. Sometimes in cheaper shoes I have had pieces of plastic, nylon, stiff thread, and edges of materials stabbing my feet. There was no such thing in these excellent boots.I've only taken these out for one day so far. I threw them on for the first time and hiked I don't know how many miles, for an entire day, through 3 different parks. I tromped through bogs, swamps, marshes, wetlands, forests, fields, streams, and what have you. In all cases, the boots were extremely comfortable, supportive, and kept the water out. The only time there was an issue with comfort was when I was kneeling down and had my feet bent at the toes, but I *don't* blame the boots because rubber boots aren't really designed for kneeling, in my opinion, and also I would say 90% of my discomfort was due to my stupid bunions. I suspect that someone with better feet that does not have bunions, would have less of an issue kneeling with these than I did. Even then, they weren't as bad as I would expect, mostly due to the soft materials and probably the flex thing along the back of the leg. Amazingly, that first day I wore them, through all of the miles and hours I wore them, with how bad my feet are, I never felt any pain. In fact, the boots were very pleasant to wear.I really hope these boots last for a long time and don't leak for fall apart. I've heard bad stories of these doing that, but on the other hand, some people told stories of their pair of these lasting for years. If mine last, I'll be thoroughly satisfied and wouldn't hesitate in the future to drop the cash for another pair.

What do want for $70.00 for a pair of rubber boots, a picture of a baby holding an apple picture with the boots,,????/ Funny man! I mean c'mon dudes...I did't even get mine in the mail yet> I bought mine just because they looked nice in the picture. Such a pretty greenish color and all...lmfao...woo hooo you winning clowns. maybe you had a problem with your boots cause your overweight and it put pressure on the side wallls of your boots, which may have caused them to tare away or leak so to speak...lmfao...........later chumps!

Great boots
I live in Girdwood Alaska. Girdwood is at the top of a temperate rain forest. Hiking in the snow or rain, these boots are perfect. They are made well for hiking and will contour to your foot as much as a waterproof, slip-on boot can. I have very long, narrow feet and they fit me with a little bit of room. I'm not sure how well they would work if you had wide feet. They can sometimes be a challenge to get on and off but that is also why they fit so well for hiking. I really like how tall they are for the deep snow or the streams. They also have pretty good gripping power for ice or wet rocks. I was also surprised at how light and quiet they are. A real bonus for hiking and/or hunting.

Really great boot overall
Really great boot overall, except that I tried tightening the straps and the rubber piece that connected the strap to the boot just ripped off. Glued it back and it is fine. Other than that, the boot itself is great. Have used it 3 deer seasons and 3 spring turkey seasons. Super comfortable.

Awesome Boots out of the box...
These are the greatest waterproof hunting boots out of the box. Too bad they weren't so good in the long run, even the short run for that matter. I consider myself an avid outdoorsman and rubber boots are ensential gear out here in Western Alaska! After about a month the outsole started coming apart by my right pinky toe. First is was a little leak then it turned hellish. Darn boots put me through a rough couple of days out here. Once i got back I ordered the Lacrosse Alpha Burly's which are a little more snug around my forefoot, but I'll take that over wet feet in these cold conditions; they're still leak proof after a couple of years. I love Irish Setter Boots, just dislike the rubber boots with a passion.P.S. A friend of mine had the same experience with the same brand so idk...maybe these boots weren't made for Alaska.P.S.S. Had some bad experiences with bogs also, not as wet...but, wet is wet when conditions are harsh.

So comfortable!
I love them! They are the most comfortable pair of boots! I bought my husband a pair 8 months ago and he loves them, so I ordered me a pair and he was right! They are fabulous! You can walk miles in these easily!

Not too cheap to where they suck, but not so expensive that you're afraid wearing ...
Just what I wanted. The medium. Not too cheap to where they suck, but not so expensive that you're afraid wearing them for what they're made for.
