MC900B 4 Channel Marine 500 Watt Amplifier, Weatherproof

Instant connection to my iPhone BT. Plenty of volume and power to use with my 2 6 1/2 and 2 6x9 speakers. The audio out connection sends sound to a sub. It’s a great little amp for an easy way to add a stereo to a classic truck. Compact size is Easy to hide in the bench seat. Would definitely consider this amp for future install, it’s a great value.

I have only been using it for 4 weeks but so far I am extremely pleased. My use of the amp is in a Luggage Stereo system, I am using it to power 10 speakers in all, all of them are running at 2 ohm load, my power source is 2(12V) lead acid batteries. The Bluetooth function works up to 30 feet and is quite easy to pair up. Also the USB charger works great with my Iphone. Will order another one if I need to build another large system. 3 Month Later, Bluetooth amp working great and enjoying stereo alot, I just ordered my second one and plan on building another system. I really enjoy the amp interface it looks great and is easy to use. 4 month update: I know have bought 4 of these and they work great. Btw you can't bridge this amp in any way, but it is stable at 2 ohms. Very pleased and will continue to purchase

Great little system that puts out some serious sound for what it is. I have it paired with KICKER 51KM604WL KM 6.5" 4Ω LED Marine Coaxial Speakers. My phone does not do it justice. I only have 2 speakers connected right now, but plan on having 4 total. Just the 2 alone are very impressive.

I had a tough time figuring out the wiring, because it kept shutting off and going into protection mode. I used a youtube install video, but I found they were incorrect. First off make sure you dont use the negative battery terminal as your ground, use a ground directly to the body of the car. Next, was look at the wiring diagram for the speakers. I use a 2 speaker setup in my classic car. The wires going to the positive and neg, terminals on a 2 channel system are wired differently. one speaker gets a white wire and a gray/black wire, the other speaker gets a purple/black wire and green wire. If you do not wire the speakers correctly the amp will shut off when you turn it up. Its very touchy. A 4- speaker system is more straight forward. In otherwords speaker gets the matching wire to it ie: a white wire and white/black wire or a purple and a purple/black wire, etc. So look at the wire colors on the diagram otherwise it will keep going into protection mode (turing off when you turn it up).

So after I installed the amp on my boat it worked great for 1 lake trip. 1 month later we took a 4 day lake trip, which was the amps second trip. It worked great on the first day then on the second day it quit connecting via Bluetooth to any device. So we had 3 days without music. I purchased the $9.99 3 year warranty so Amazon is replacing it. Hopefully the next one lasts longer than a month. (Side note, there is a way to hard line connect your phone. If you buy this amp I highly suggest you buy the required RCA cables and bring them with you on your trip just in case so your not out of music for your entire trip.) I gave stars on sound quality because when it worked it worked well, and stars on price cause it was cheap. But I guess you get what you pay for.

I was able to effortlessly connect my Samsung Note 4 Android phone to it and hear all of the audio from my phone: taps on screen, text msg tones, ringtone, Google Maps Voice-guided Nav, Spotify, etc. It will soon be tested with a Windows 8.1 Pro PC with an ASUS BT 400 dongle. If I'm able to update my review at a later time, I will let you all know how that worked out too. With this amp's lack of an built-in equalizer (mentioned as EQ going forward), you will need to have an EQ on the device you're broadcasting audio from (BT, 3.5mm, etc). Android appears to have an equalizer built in (at least on the newer versions, I'm running 5.1.x), however I probably didn't look hard enough to find the user interface where I could control and manipulate the EQ. So I jumped on the Play App Store and found a few options, some free, some paid to remove ads. I initially downloaded "Equalizer FX (Free)" to see if it worked - it did, very nicely too I might add. Please note: you will be prompted to disable the Android's built-in EQ when you initially attempt to enable the Equalizer FX EQ. This is a one-time step. After verifying it basically did what I needed, I paid for the ad-free version - hate ads! The only quirk I've found with the app, which I is associated solely with this particular app, not the amp, is that when streaming audio, with the EQ enabled and adjusted to my liking, and using Google Maps Voice-guided Navigation at the same time, the EQ freaks out and the bass boost is pumped up to what seems like the max. But again, this is an app-specific issue and not related to the amp. Just a tip for my fellow Android users who may be beginning their search on how to get up and running. Overall, I'm very, very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to a friend who was in need of a BT amp!

Awesome product! I have this in two Japanese imports that I wanted to retain the OEM radio (that doesn’t work in the USA) but still have tunes. It was easy to wire this system into the OEM speakers and now I have music. Side note, this is a better amp then most head units so you can even upgrade your speakers for better sound.

I bought this amplifier because i wanted to play music but did not want a complete radio system as car is build for street and strip. This Bluetooth amp was what i needed. i installed a radio delete plate in the factory location as this is where i will mount accessory switches (electric fans and fuel pump) and start button. This unit is small enough to hide anywhere under the dash or in glove box. The sound is excellent for its size. I have it hooked up to a pair of 6.5" Rockford Forsgate P1650 speakers for the rear and the center dash speaker is the Retro Sounds dual voice cone speaker and all sounds very well - loud enough too. i play music from my iPhone. What i wish it had was an app to allow adjustments to front and rear or left to right but it truly isn't necessary as it sounds fine the way it is. What i also wish it had was a built in mic so i could answer calls and hear calls over the car speakers. For the money spent and to have very good sound in the car, this was a great option. Now, i hope it lasts. follow the instructions to the letter and make sure you have a good ground. When wiring speakers it is important to wire them correctly + / - terminals must be correct. take your time.

This amp is fairly small which makes it easy to install in small places. Also, marine grade, so good for my bike fairing. Bluetooth is a very nice feature and easy to use on this amp. No need for a head unit. Keep in mind that this is a budget amp and you will not get huge sound to similarly powered amps with bigger names and price tags. For the cost, it is great.
