It wirks, but it's a little flimsy. I'll use it for now but will be on the lookout for a better made one.

I now have two of these, they are very handy to have in my shop as well as near my desk.

Just what I was looking for. I was pleasantly surprised by the craftsmanship. No paint over-spill from the markings and no burrs or rough edges, makes this way better than I expected at this price. Well done!

Not acceptable for its intended function. I wouldn't buy this brand again. I wanted a 6" ruler with metric markings and a sliding clip to measure "end-of-ruler to clip" depths. I have a General model that is good quality but only has imperial markings. I bought the Groz to get metric. It was a mistake to do so. Good: - The markings, both imperial and metric, are accurate when compared to my other accurate rulers. Bad: - The general quality of numbers and lines as marked is poor. It's difficult to determine where the 100, 110, 120 etc, numbers line up with specific marks on the scale without counting the millimeters from the 105, 115, etc marks. - The clip twists instead of being 90 degrees to the body of the ruler. If you were to measure something using the sliding clip, you can't be guaranteed of getting an accurate measurement. This ruler does not function as intended. - General quality of materials of the ruler and the clip are poorer than they should be for the price paid. The stainless steel is rougher and cruder. This ruler isn't worth a tenth of what I paid for it, and I will be returning it. I should have gone with a known quantity and bought a General or Starret or other reputable brand, and I am going to go do that now. I gave it two stars instead of one because you could just take off the clip and use it as an accurate six inch ruler. But it shouldn't cost that much.
