Mr. Grip Screw Hole Repair Kit

I can't believe all the hardware stores aren't stocking these. I always use these to tighten up table legs, door catches, you name it. We bought some about 30 years ago from a local independent hardware store in our neighborhood at the time. Only now are we running low, so I started to look for a brick & mortar that had them. Not at Lowes, Home Depot, nor our local independents. So I came here, glad I found them. Stocked up but good. My grandchildren will inherit these, if they're nice to me. They fix all kinds of loose screws. Well, maybe except your purple-haired neighbor.

Theses arrived promptly. But were much too think to fit it to the wood screw hole I desired them for. Yin would need a fairly massively enlarged hole to use these without drilling to make the current hole bigger. Since I was unwilling to do that. They were useless.

All you need is a sharp set of shears to trim to size of hole you will be putting screw into. great product.

If you have ever stipped out a screw hole and glued in a toothpick to fix the purchase a screw will have then you will love these. They're easy to cut to size, install and reuse. Highly recommended.

What was I thinking to buy this repair product. Not worth the money I spent.
