Clover 611 Adjustable Ring Thimble with Plate, #22

This is such a convenient thimble for sashiko. This really comes in hand when you are sewing threw thicker fabrics like denim. It is adjustable so you can make it smaller or larger as needed.

Really helps push a long line of sashiko thread through the fabric with no sore fingers. I could never get used to regular thimbles but this like wearing an adjustable ring. I have no problems with it. Very happy with my purchase.

I'm new to Sashiko stitching but I found this thimble to be very comfortable, & easy to ajust to fit my finger, and helps with a smother push through the fabric and protected my hand from being punctured or helped stop the needle from moving into my fingers or palm. I also use rubber finger thimbles to help pull the needle through the fabric in conjunction with this thimble. Good product definitely recommend.

I was skeptical at first, but this style of thimble actually works very well for both sashiko and hand sewing. It's thick and well-crafted, easy to adjust to fit bigger fingers, and the holes are deep enough that the needle doesn't slip out.

I bought this to learn sashiko stitching. It took a while to get used to, but with a long sashiko needle you can get very satisfyingly straight stitching. (I bought a leather version first, because it seemed so "legit," but I feel like it's too soft to get a good push.) I'll also use this thimble for utility quilting (see book by Carolyn Forster).

This fits weird, and is awkward to use. It will suffice until I find a better one.

It's a thimble... Clover makes nice tools. This is no exception.

At first I thought that it had been bent in shipping but not so. It was fine. I do think they could use a little more care in the shipping. It fits very well, I didn't need to bend it to fit. Of course, this depends on the finger I will use in each project. It is good quality, not precious metal or anything like that but it's not like out of a cracker jacks box either. It will work fine for what I do. People who embroider or do a lot of sewing probably would prefer a leather type. I don't do a lot of sewing so this will work fine and it feels good, not cumbersome, awkward, but could almost become unnoticeable while wearing. It was a very good size for me also. I have rather large hands for a women so it may seem big for some. Can't think of reason you wouldn't want to at least try this.

I have long nails but still needed a thimble for my sewing so I got this. It’s perfect for me, adjustable and comfortable to wear for long periods of time, takes a bit to get used to and use but it’s well worth it.
