Highly recommend - very happy with purchase!!
I wanted to find the right hair dryer -- one that would not frizz my hair and would do what the product write-up claimed. After reviewing customer comments, I decided on this one. I have not been disappointed at all. I love it. I also purchased an ion hair brush and love that too. With both, I have less frizz for my very fine and frizzy hair. The hair dryer is a fast dry and works well to style your hair -- whether flipping it up or rounding it downward. I am very happy with this -- and am very pleasantly surprised since it is so hard to find a quality product. This actually does what it claims to do. It seems more gentle on my hair and my hair feels smoother than it used to feel. It is not too heavy for me and I am a petite woman. The attachment piece may take a little to put on - but it works -- and it stays on without falling off - so it is a good tight fit. I like the medium setting. This hair dryer certainly saves me the extra time drying my hair and I am very satisfied in the end.

High quality
After buying a professional hair dryer for myself last week I wanted to buy one for my best friend too. I ordered this one because of the great reviews. I can honestly say it lives up to the hype. It has 2 speeds and 3 heat settings. I like that it blows cold air as well to cool down your hair from the heat. It has two attachments which allow you to get close to your hair without drying it and blows an equal amount of heat on it. Others have mentioned the weight and it is a bit heavier than normal but it's a smaller hair dryer than the one I own so it takes up less space on the vanity. The noise also s minimum so that's a plus. I wanted to try it before giving it to my friend and it did blow dry my hair faster than others I've owned and it left my hair without any frizz! Love it! Would recommend!

This is the best hair dryer we've found but....
This is the fourth time we have bought this same hair dryer. It's very powerful and does a great job but its durability is an issue. Durability has varied a lot. Used by the same two people in the same way, the one we bought in 2014 lasted 3 years, the one bought in 2017 lasted 6 years, but the one in 2023 lasted only 2 years. I don't know that that means, but it's true.

Still going!
I was looking through my Amazon order history and realized I purchased this hair dryer back in 2017. Nearly nine years later, itโs still working great with no issues. It dries my hair quickly and efficiently, has held up extremely well over time, and has been very reliable. Itโs rare to find a product that lasts this long and continues to perform like it did when it was new. I would definitely purchase it again and highly recommend it.

Shorted out after a few months.
Update: I was using this dryer on vacation, and it shorted out on me. It generally takes me about 5-7 minutes to dry my hair. I use the high setting first, then the low setting with a round brush. I was using the low setting when it seemed to be louder than normal. Then I heard a pop, it stopped working, and I smelled something burning. I had to go out and buy a new one at the last minute during our trip (I hate hotel hair dryers). Not very happy with the fact that this only lasted a few months. I will generally get a new hair dryer about every 2 years. This one was maintained well, and I had just cleaned the lint filter prior to our trip. Changing the review to 1 star because I had to replace it and I'm out of the return window. Original review: I was looking for a lightweight hairdryer that would dry my hair quickly and (somewhat) quietly. This is definitely the one! I compared several different hair dryers here on Amazon and went into Ulta to look at some in person. I had a hard time buying a hair dryer that I couldn't hold in my hand first to feel the fit, but I'm glad I went ahead and did. This hair dryer is definitely slimmer than my previous dryer, and a lot more lightweight, which is great for traveling. It's not real quiet, but much quieter than any other hair dryer I've had in the past. I have an almost 2 year old daughter with a lot of hair, and I always dry her hair after a bath. This one is quiet enough that we can still talk to each other and not have to yell over the sound of the dryer. My only complaint is that the concentrator nozzle has a loose fit and is very easily rotated. I have to stop a few times to turn it back to a desired position and then resume drying my hair. Not that big of a deal, but my last hair dryer's concentrator nozzle didn't move once it was on.

Short Life Span
Average hair dryer. After about a year and half, I realized the heating elements were going out. The dryer did not stay hot, and the red light went out. It has a short life span.

Purchased 2015 and still going 2024
I purchased this hair dryer in 2015. It is still drying hair and is the best dryer I've had. The infrared light doesn't always come now, but it still dries my hair and I have not had heat damage. In consideration of its age and my current needs, I wish I could shrink this dryer into a travel size dryer. But other than that, I like my dryer alot as it continues to dry my hair up to this day 12/4/24. I can't speak for others, but the dryer purchased and received in 2015 by me still works to my satisfaction. If anything changes, I will post it.

High quality - lower noise!
I had the Conair "Quiet Styler" dryer for years but really wanted something that would work better for my thick mid-length hair that would not cause more frizz than normal humidity does but still offered a low noise level. I purchased this dryer after reading through mountains of reviews on various models and brands and am glad I purchased this one! It is fairly quiet for a higher grade dryer and it is not that heavy as some of the other reviews said. I like the red light that comes on when you select the High Heat option as it highlights the section of hair that you are drying. Best of all - in addition to the lower noise level - I love all the different setting and speed options (i.e. 3 speeds for the fan, 3 speeds for the heat). It is good quality and I feel worth the price. Many other dryers I looked at that were more expensive did not have as many heat and fan settings and were not considered "low noise." I would definitely recommend this dryer!

Fantastic product for the price!
Im a guy and have a disconnected undercut that's a little on the longer side and was using a 20 dollar Conair hairdryer for a while that wouldn't maintain airflow very well and it took me 10 minutes to dry my hair, which is a LONG time for such short hair. Fed up, I asked my stylist what kind of hairdryer I got and she introduced me to the world of ionizing hairdryers and found this guy on sale, figured anything would be better, but this hairdryer totally blew my expectations out of the water, it has so much functionality and my hair feels really healthy and it doesn't burn my scalp when I use it. My hair is really shiny and smooth and dries in about 2 minutes just on warm on high, I also find the cold setting on this hairdryer actually goes cold which helps set my hair way better (I have a troublesome double crown that parts the side of my hair in a weird way). I would have never guessed a hairdryer would improve my hair health so much but I can't recommend this product enough, certainly worth the investment!

REVISED. Great purchase, professional grade and affordable
UPDATED: August 30th 2020 The Seller had sent me a replacement hairdryer, 2 weeks after, the hair dryer started to show signs of issues (laggy motor, slows down after being on for 30 seconds). Contacted the Seller and they cannot replace the replacement and asked me to take a picture of the problem???? and no service repair time and shipping costs would be at my expense. Too much trouble to possibly receive another defective item. So I ordered another from an "Amazon Choice" recommendation I had originally purchased this hair dryer in January 2019. Definitely a very professional, high heat and quick dry. Very happy with this product. Unfortunately, after almost one and a half years, the hair dryer broke. I contacted the Sellers, and they replied quite promptly. The hair dryer had a two-year warranty, and they were very efficient in sending me a replacement hair dryer, which I received within one week. Very good service.

Good but will surely not last many years.
We had this hair dryer for about a year and a half and it suddenly stopped working and smelled like burning while my wife was using it. I opened it up myself and cleaned the rotor(had carbon buildup) and motor brushes with electrical contact cleaner and a rag. While I was there I removed hair that jammed around the shaft of the fan because they has went trough the filter (By the way the filter is a joke. It doesn't prevent hair or dust from passing trough and we never has to clean it in 18 months). I put the parts all back together and it works again. The burning smell was coming from the heating element working without the fan and probably burning hair residue. The motor brushes had about 60% of life left, I would expect this dryer to last maybe another 2 year before it dies. Performance of this dryer is good. The blower moves alot of air, but that is because there barely is restriction on the filter. For this price, its a good buy. Many hair dryers nowadays only last about 2-3 years anyways.

Look no further, this is the best you'll get.
I spent nearly a month researching good hairdryers and reading reviews or "top 10" lists here and there and finally came across this brand which seemed to tick off all the marks in terms of power, heat and drying time + was <100$. so i thought i'd try it out and see if it really measures up to the hype. So I've almost been using it for a month, and can't tell you how happy i am with my decision. This beauty does wonders to my super thick, bushy hair. it's cut my drying time in 3 and my hair always comes out silky smooth with that salon hair shine. And the dryer itself has a really nice design and doesn't get too heavy to hold. 10/10 would recommend that you buy it. Just make sure to pair it with a good round brush and you'll get an awesome brushing guaranteed.

Here's my fair review for the MHD Pro Salon Grade Hairdryer
There are over 100 reviews - about 83% really good and about 10% really bad and the rest is somewhere in the middle. If you're looking trying to decide and looking for a half mixed review on the goods and bads of this hairdryer, here's my honest review and my experiences with this hairdryer. I got this MHD Pro Salon Grade hairdryer after doing quite a bit of research to see if I can get a half decent hairdryer that died on me. My last hairdryer was bought from Superstore. The brand was I think VS Sassoon or made by Conair, but it lasted a long time (probably 10 years) before the heating element or something in the electronics got fried after I tried melting all the ice build-up on one of my windows on a prolonged period of time. That was a really good hairdryer, but it had a wire heating element which was bound to go. Anyway, here's the review of that MHD Pro Salon Grade hairdryer. The initial quality from unboxing is really good. There's a solid feel to it and the plastic that it's made off seems like it'll hold up from dropping off the washroom sink counter. The weight of the hairdryer is definitely heavier than my old dryer. I didn't give it much thought initially, but after using it a few dozen times over a couple of months, it does seem a bit on the heavy side. Noise level is definitely lower, even on the high setting and it does sound like the professional hairdryers you get in the salons. That's one of the good things about this dryer. The other good thing about this hairdryer is that it does dry your hair faster. I'm not sure if it's the ions it pumps out or the ceramic infrared heating that's produced, but the heat is quite instant, especially on high. Medium heat setting produces way lower heat. The low heat setting produces no heat at all. I'm wondering why there is even a low heat setting when there is a cold air button on top of the heat setting 3 way switch. Basically if there's only two heat settings or getting rid of the cold air button, it would've made sense. The air that comes out of the dryer, both in the low and high fan settings are tremendous! If you're to use the dryer without the diffuser, it's A LOT OF WIND! It definitely can blow harder and faster than my old hairdryer can. It blows so well, that I can unfog my 4x6' bathroom mirror quite quickly! The low setting is still too strong to be honest. Unless if you can hold the heavy hairdryer further away constantly for several minutes, your arms and shoulders will be fairly tired. I use the diffuser to tone down that gusty wind at low level and even that's still a bit strong. The final good thing about this hairdryer is that it's got a removable lint net at the back. Now, the bad things about this hairdryer besides the heaviness and the extremely strong blow force. First off, the dryer body is completely made of smooth plastic. It does not have rubber side pieces on either sides of the body like my old hairdryer does to prevent slipping and dropping to the floor. Without that non-slip rubber, the MHD hairdryer keeps sliding everywhere when I place the dryer on the counter with the cord dangling. The weight of the cord will drag the hairdryer down or swing the dryer into the sink. It's just a matter time and how many times the hair dryer will hit the floor before the heating elements gets dislodged and the dryer becomes useless. The other thing I don't like is the flat cord that it comes with. I was hoping that this hairdryer is the real professional grade where the cord is round and long. However, it is flat and about 7-8 feet of usable cord length if it's not crinkled up. The cord is 9ft if you count the plug and the flex end of the dryer. The flat cord is so easily twisted and tangles up, whereas a round cord doesn't twist so it won't get tangled up as easily. Also the velcro tie-up for the cord is crap. It frayed after tying up the cord after a couple of times since the velcro is made of cheap polyester that get caught up with it's hooks. All in all, would I buy this or any of the Pro Salon style hair dryer again - likely not due to the price and some of the negatives I've mentioned. This one was actually quite cheap. So, if you're out looking for a Salon grade hairdryer that has a lot of blowing power, ceramic infrared heat, and ionization, this might be the hairdryer for you and it's less than $60. I'd definitely recommend it. However, if you're OK with a non-professional grade hairdryer that has everything this hairdryer has with lower blow force and for have the price, than look elsewhere and I totally recommend that. I think there are way better hairdryers that suit my needs just like my previous hairdryer. Don't spend all that money just because a hairdryer is pro grade. You have to know how to use one like a pro, which I'm not. The pros make it look easy with all that wind. It's also harder to hold the hairdryer properly for yourself in front of a mirror. So, for home use, a normal cheapish hairdryer will do. Hope this helps.
