This light stand is fantastic. I ordered one from b&h 9 months ago and it's been back ordered that whole time! So I decided to try this one out as my patience had run out. I love it, the legs pop out and lock into place super easily so it's easy to pack up. Everything is very easy to put together and to take apart which is a feature I needed. It also came with a nice carrying bag. The arm seems hard to push but you don't need to push as hard as you would expect and slides very nicely. When the second pipe is connected it almost goes up up my ceiling so there is plenty of space to work with for adults! I am 100% please with this purchase.

I have an 86” PLM from Paul C Bluff and I also ordered one of their huge air cushioned light stands and the wheel attachments. My studio isn’t very big, but I needed the stand to be able to rotate easily as my model moves. The Paul C Bluff stand was okay, but I had heard great things about the Flashpoint. One day I saw it was on sale and took my chance. It arrived in a really nice carrying bag that unfortunately will never see the light of day again, lol. I will not be taking this thing apart for a long time! I put it together by myself in about 10 minutes, no tools needed other than the provided Allen wrench. I was initially having a problem with the pole not being tightly secured, but I was able to figure it out with the help of my day and correct it. I will recommend this stand to anyone! It rolls incredibly smoothly, it rotates easily, it feels VERY sturdy. You won’t be disappointed if you buy it!

The Flashpoint RB-PG Steel Wheeled Pistol Grip Stand has been a great tool for sports portrait photoshoots, especially when working with athletes of different heights. Being able to quickly and smoothly adjust camera height makes the portrait process much more efficient. Setup is fast and straightforward, and the wheels roll very smoothly, which is a big plus when repositioning between shots. One of the best features is how modular the system is you can add additional grips for lighting, or even attach a tabletop for a laptop, turning it into an all-in-one mobile shooting station. The stand is definitely on the heavy side, which adds stability but makes transport a bit more demanding. The included carrying bag didn’t hold up very well, but that was an easy fix by switching to a more durable case like a Pelican-style case. Overall, this is a sturdy, versatile stand that works extremely well for high-volume sports and portrait photography.

Happy with this. I sawed off the top few inches to make it pass through a ceiling beam. It’s sturdy and the pistol grip slides well enough.

This is a nice light stand, but mine came missing some screws needed and looked like the package had been opened previously.
