Disney Lullaby Album

We bought this CD of lullabies based on the reviews and received several other lullaby CDs from friends as gifts. Of all the albums, this was the hands-down winner and has become the staple of our nap and bedtime routine. Initially, we started playing music for naptime only, and varied the CDs, but we noticed that this CD seemed to be most effective at lulling him to sleep, and we now use this for all naps and many bedtimes. My son will ask for this CD if he's having trouble falling asleep at night- even at his most cranky, he is soothed and calmed, and he knows that the music helps him. Most surprising to me is that I've come to really love this CD myself- I was a little skeptical that it would be schmaltzy, but it's really quite charming and sweet. It's a testament to the arrangers that I still want to listen to it after hearing it multiple times a day for two years. I even find myself singing along to the songs sometimes! We are actually buying a second copy for our new baby's room- I have a feeling this will be a lifelong family favorite. Reasons this CD works so well: - Instrumental, no lyrics- we found this to be very important in helping our son "shut down" his active toddler brain - Tempo of songs similar enough so no jarring transitions - Volume of songs even throughout - Length of CD is just long enough to ensure the child is sleeping when the music ends

I am so happy I found this album! The music is so relaxing. It has definitely made our transition into nap time with multiple toddlers so much smoother!

I bought this music as a cassette tape in 2001 when I was expecting my first baby. It quickly became the music of choice when my daughter was born. It is soothing and gentle. The music became such a staple in our lives that we would use them in playlist at my daughter's birthday parties. Its now almost 20 years later and our original cassette tape and then CD have been misplaced in a move. I searched and found a used CD. That is how beautiful this music is and how important music, such as this, can stand the test of time.

When it is time for a nap, I play this CD for my granddaughter. It is calm and relaxing, and the music is so pretty. She always falls asleep listening to his CD. Very glad I bought it.

There are several sweet arrangements of quiet music to help baby sleep. I've only used it a few times as calming lead-up to bedtime. Seems to work well to have a calm atmosphere to get sleepy. I love the Disney theme, because I can hum along. This is an instrumental arrangement (very relaxing), NOT the actual recording from the movies.

We received this CD a few years ago when my daughter was born (she is now 4 years old), and it has proven to be a true gem! Now, let me be clear: I do not like Muzak, or cover songs, or drippy icky syrupy songs.... and this CD is none of those things. It really is the perfect thing to put baby (and Mommy) to sleep. The songs are well-chosen: not just typical lullaby tunes, but songs that adults can enjoy (the Beatles "I Will", for example). What's more, they are well-performed: gentle and sweet, without being saccharin-y. I actually have these loaded on my iPod! Now my son falls asleep with this CD every night. You will fall in love with it too.

What can I say. The music is awesome! We've had this playing for almost 2 months now... every night! I didn't have music for my little one (2yrs old) before now. We just now needed something to help her settle down to sleep. The volume level from one song to the next is consistent, and the songs are the songs I remember the words to (though these don't have words). It's the kind of music that I've now listen to when I want to sleep. I bought the 2nd Album of music as well, and got the same wonderful results. I switch the CDs between my little one's room and my room for sleeping from time to time, and never get tired of them. This music stays on all night at our house in a continuous loop. If you want music you will enjoy as well as your little one, these are the songs for you.

My baby isn't even born yet so maybe I should of waited to write this review. I only rushed the review because just a while ago I wanted to listen to the cd and see if the music is as soothing as the samples given and man after not even 5 minutes I'm finding myself yawning like crazy! Hopefully this puts baby to sleep as well or he'll have a hard time getting me up! I plan to play music appropriate for my babies age at all time even if I'm not crazy about the songs but I'm finding that I keep playing this cd over and over. It just puts me in a relaxed mood. Very beautiful tunes!

Diese CD ist bis jetzt das beste Album mit der schönsten Einschlafmusik für Babys, die ich gekauft habe. Unser Sohn findet sie toll und schlummert meist nach einigen Minuten hören selig ein. Ich selbst muss beim Hören sofort an die unzähligen Disneyfilme denken, die ich im Laufe meines Lebens schon gesehen habe und kann deshalb zur Freude unseres Sohnes jedes Lied mitsummen. KLARE KAUFEMPFEHLUNG!

Cet album instrumental est trés joli et doux, les musiques sont belles et calmes, je recommande vivement comme rituel du soir, c'est trés apaisant.

My little one has this on to go to sleep every night and it doesn't take long for her to go off. Had to buy this one as a replacement as we wore the old one out! Love that it's just music and it really works for us
