These snaps seem very sturdy and was just what I was looking for
These snaps seem very sturdy and was just what I was looking for. I sewed these onto each corner of my comforter, and sewed on ribbon loops to each inside corner of my duvet covers. Works well. I think you're supposed to sew these tabs on the duvet cover as well, but I didn't want the bulk and I just needed it to stay in place. Works either way!

I think this is the best solution out there for securing a comforter inside a duvet. Previously I had used ties, and I also tried clips. Clips are very bulky and I did not like them at all. The problem with ties is when you go to wash everything, you have to untie the ties, and sometimes that is difficult. Also, previously when I used ties, I found that the pressure exerted at the small point where the tie comes out of the comforter would sometimes tear a hole in the comforter. These are pricey, and I considered making my own. But the quality of these are very good. The strips that hold the snaps are substantial - not just a piece of twill tape. Each side of the snap strip is a double piece of cloth, and they are fairly wide. If I made my own I would have to use twill tape most likely, and that would not be as substantial.Lastly, the strength of the snap itself is very good. I do not see these unsnapping by themselves once the cover is on the bed.

Too much work!
Too much work to sew them on. I can't sew and now I'm waiting on my mom to put them on for me. Way too complicated: not an easy fix, which is what I thought I was purchasing

These take some time and thought to get them properly fastened, but theyโre worth it. I started by flipping my duvet inside out, and marking where each snap went with safety pins. Instead of sewing them on, I used an iron-on binding material. It was way easier to iron than sew, just because the duvet and cover are really big and hard to maneuver with a sewing machine.

Functional, but not perfect
Home sewing depot could do a few things to make this product much, much better:1. The ties come bundled together in a little 3" x 4" Ziplock bag, which I'm sure cuts down dramatically on cost. That said every loose bit of thread, from what are already extremely coarse, uneven cuts, are included in the bag. I'm usually not one to turn down a free product, but I certainly don't need a dozen tiny bits of thread along with my strips.2. The directions are, as others have mentioned, lacking. Make a quick video showing where you want these strips placed, and it would make a world of difference.3. Finally, there are a number of us who are really only planning to use the corner tie-downs in conjunction with a matching set on either our duvet or duvet cover. In these cases, we end up needed 1/3 of the provided strips. Offering a reduced-cost half sized option would be a good idea!

Possible manufacturing issue
Half of the strips had the button punched through both sides so they were unable to be opened and flattened. The rest are fine, but not super impressed.

Super helpful and easy to sew
Great kit. Came with 4 corner tab sets and 8 side/top/bottom sets. Perfect for the comforter and duvet I bought that didnt have any tabs, loops or buttons that aligned. Sewing was easy and it works great!

Good strong snaps
I just received the snaps for my duvet cover. In the package is 4 sets of corner snaps and 8 sets of side tab-style snaps. The snap action is really good and the two halves hold very firmly. This will be great and prevent all the shifting and bunching of the comforter within the duvet cover. Looks like a well made product.
