I bought these because her favorite shoes are also from this brand and she still ...
My daughter loves these shoes and they are lightweight and flexible. They have held up well and nothing is wrong with them after wearing them for several months. I bought these because her favorite shoes are also from this brand and she still wears those and they have held up after two years or so. They are getting small so I wanted her to have another pair. She doesn't complain about an issues with comfort when we go out and she wears these. I like that the sole is also somewhat flexible. I always check the flexibility of the shoe before I buy it because I read it's important for developing feet. Overall I am happy with this shoe and would purchase them again. Also, these do seem to run a little large. She is in size 3.5 to size 4 in most shoes but these are size 3 and she still has room to grow. Size threes from other brands are either snug or too small.

Poor quality
Disappointed in the quality. I purchased these for my 6 year old based on the good reviews. I got the red shoes and they have not held up very well compared to other shoes purchased for similar price. I would not buy again;

My daughter loves these SO much!
My 9 year old daughter is absolutely in love with these sneakers. She put them on and started happily exclaiming, "They're so... BOUNCY!" and proceeded to run around and jump with glee. She told me they make her jump higher, and feel "perfect" on her feet. These are not our first pair of Tsukihoshi sneakers and will definitely not be our last. They generally hold up well over time and are machine washable. The colours of these particular sneakers are even better in person... vibrant and beautiful. We got the purple and are very happy with that choice. Know that they run a bit large, so order a half size under what you would in common US brands. She is a 3 in Tsukihoshi and a 3.5 in Nike and Sketchers. We really cannot recommend these enough. They are not cheap, but are worth every penny for the comfort and joy they bring!

Can't get her to wear any others
My 7 year old daughter has fairly wide feet - at least across the ball of her foot - and while I don't love spending this much money on kid's shoes, they are the only ones that she will happily wear. We tried a less expensive pair first, but it was way too narrow and rubbed her heel, too. These are comfy from day one. This is her 4th pair in 4 years, and by the time she's grown out of a pair there's not much life left it them. She also likes that they are lightweight and come in pretty colors. I expect to be buying another larger pair next year.

Tsukihoshi - great brand for orthotics!
We love these shoes. My daughter has some foot problems and uses orthotics, and these are great shoes for that. The insole comes out, we slip the orthotic in, and she has the support she needs. We can buy them slightly big and use the insole on top of the orthotic. Then when her foot gets a bit tight in there, we remove the orthotic and get a little more wear. They wear well, clean up well, and are comfortable. They're not cheap shoes, but with our family's foot problems, they're worth the money.

a good all around choice for back to school footwear
The silver and blue combination are very subtle, yet shiny enough to have some bling. These shoes are easy and quick to get on and off. My second grader leaves them at school in her locker to wear to gym class and during the winter months instead of her snow boots. They are lightweight and machine washable--which keeps them looking and smelling nicer longer.

We keep buying more of them evey year...
We have bought multiple pairs of this sneaker throughout the years and they have never disappointed. My 8 year old daughter used these about 3 days per week and they lasted an entire school year.
