SHARP TV

Not much to say really. Had it for a few weeks now and been nothing but impressed with it. Great picture quality Great smart features (missing a couple, but that's why we have Apple TV connected) Amazing sound quality and settings - We noticed new sounds even on the Apple TV as we browse around the apps, it just sounded completely different. I'd say this sound quality negates the need for a sound bar. Old TV was around 55-60 out of 100 on volume constantly, this one is sufficient at 20-25 out of 100 and has better options to switch between when you need. Only con I can think of is the remote has to be pointed directly at the sensor on the TV to work, where my previous 9 year old TV could be pointed anywhere in the general direction of the TV to work, that's been annoying but we are used to it now.

Arrived with care, first tv I've ordered for myself since leaving home. Great value for money. Picture quality is great. Only thing I would say about the tv is its a little on the slow side asin getting apps on or exiting apps. Also the remote control needs to be directly infront of the tv for it to change channel or volume up.

Very nice picture, extremely good sound for this money, slick, flat, fairly nice interface, good wi-fi connection, decent remote. Ok, so what's the catch, why only one star? Well, on short, that's because I got a faulty product. And now, the details. Because the devil is always in the details. I was at work when the tv was delivered and my wife, who was home at the time, told me the box was dented and it has some marks and scuffs like it took a rough beating. I told her not to open it, but to take some pictures and wait for me to come from work and give it a try, maybe it's only the card box which is a little bit... you know. Well, it wasn't the case, it was the real deal. The bad real deal. I suspected something was wrong the second I saw the box, it looked like it fell down the stairs from the second floor. I opened it, took the tv out, plugged it in and... yeah, I saw what you can see in the pictures attached. The screen has some kind of wavy displacement, it looks like the tv fell or it was hit from the bottom. It just looks bad! Other than that, the picture in the rest of the screen is nice, 4k videos look stunning, full HD videos look almost 4k, the sound from the built in speakers is (almost) exceptional for the money, no surprise there, they're Harman Kardon, the wi-fi connection works like a charm, even the remote is not that bad, you have got good usb and hdmi connections etc. Why did it have to be like that I really like this tv, I don't want to send it back but, on the other hand, I paid my hard earned dough for a new and GOOD product, not for a faulty one. Now, thinking about the hassle of sending it back, here's a question for both Amazon and the seller: what are you guys going to do about this? 'Cause it's a shame for this product to have a one star review... L.E. Well, they didn't do anything. Zip, nada! I had to pay £50+ to send it back, like it was my fault I got a broken item. If it was a 0 star rating, it would definitely go to the seller! And Amazon, as it endorsed something like that.

Sadly our one came a little beat up, I suspect the delivery driver may not have secured the telly in the van however luckily the box was the only thing that took a beating. Once the telly was up, we sat down and enjoyed our new piece of tech. We did all the things you can do to test a new screen and everything looked stunning. The sound isn't the greatest in the world but you can't have everything right?

I bought two tv's before I bought this one. And sent them both back one was broken and the other wouldn't work when using the catch up app's. This one was £200 cheaper for the same size and works perfectly! with no complaints . Previous TV supplier was refusing to replace so had to insist through Amazon!! Folks! Always make sure you get your money's worth and don't let supplier's take the p...! This TV's Good.. enjoy.

The picture flashes light and dark on the itv app its so annoying I can't make it stop

This television is fabulous for the money - picture is crystal clear and it looks great. Sound is fine just not very loud. Delighted with my purchase.
