Great Little Knife!
I actually bought two of these a year apart just to have when wearing light shorts around the house and doing yard work. I carry a larger Spyderco for EDC but wanted something small and lightweight for around the house for typical household stuff. These knives are very lightweight, very sharp, and maintain an edge very well. Not going to skin a deer with it but it's perfect for my intended purpose and disappears in my pocket. The pocket clip is also very strong and sturdy. Great value for the price if you want a small and lightweight yet sturdy blade for basic tasks.

My favorite small knife (after a month)
I'm no knife expert. Definitely not a knife snob. I'm not using this knife for survival or defense...I hang it inside my pants pocket and use it to cut stuff. If that is how you plan to use it, I recommend that you give it a try. I really like this little knife. I wasn't sure if I would like it, but the ridiculously-low price enticed me to give it a try. After using it for a month, I wouldn't have been disappointed if it had cost a few bucks more. It came reasonably sharp (not shaving-sharp, but paper-slicing sharp) and has held that edge for the short time I have been using it. It is light. My cheap kitchen scale says it is 1.4oz or 40 grams, so it weighs about the same as $1.75 in quarters. For being so small and light, it feels quite solid to me. It opens smoothly and has no wiggle in the blade when locked open. It looks like it has a (nylon?) washer next to the blade to keep it snug and smooth. Hopefully that will last for a long time because I imagine the blade would wiggle a bit if that wore out. I saw several reviews that said it can't be opened and closed with one hand. I didn't find that to be true. It would be lot lot easier to open 1-handed if they added a thumb stud or extended the back of the blade, but I don't have a lot of trouble with it unless my fingers are slippery. In any case, I find it easy to close with one hand. Not always the case with lock blades. The one problem I have with this knife is the center hole on the side opposite of the clip is large enough to get a fingertip into when digging around in your pocket. It is POSSIBLE to nick your finger on the blade if you're not careful; not too likely, but possible. I find that clipping the knife inside my pocket at the top makes it easier to find and makes it less likely to nick my finger when feeling around in my pocket. I haven't actually cut myself yet, but buyers should be aware of that until Gerber changes the frame design. Overall, this has become my favorite small knife for everyday carry. I also carry the tiny Swiss Army Classic, but this knife is much better for cutting things more substantial than an apple. If you're on the fence, just give it a try (before they realize they could charge a few dollars more.) I'm buying another in case I lose this one.

Size shape and safety
Sharpness:9/10 Ease to carry:10/10 Size 9/10 Sturdiness:9/10 Easy to open:7/10 Long form: I’ve never bought a knife more than once, but this is my second purchase of this knife. It’s the best every day carry knife I’ve ever owned. I was a chef, I used it to cut down boxes, at home I use it for everything, I’m putting zip ties in my pc cause I’m too lazy to remove extra fans and just end up zip tying my liquid cooler to my old fans, I use this knife to cut the zips down. You can wear gym shorts and barely notice it clipped to your pocket. TLDR: cuts everything. Small and compact, easy to cut, not as easy as flip opens to actually open. Very thin blade. 9/10 but it

For the city dweller, a little knife at a GREAT value.
Intro: I purchased this knife in February of 2015 after retiring an abused CRKT Pazoda. Although I was initially concerned about the Gerber Paraframe Mini's nail nick opening and small size of the blade (blade length: ~2.2"), I've come to love this little knife after carrying it everyday for 30 months. Living around a big city, I've found that I don't need a larger knife and that this little Gerber is more than capable for most of my light daily knife tasks (e.g., opening boxes, letters, retail packaging, cigars, etc.). Size, shape, ease of carry, use: The Gerber is small enough that I rarely notice it sitting in my pocket and it generally stays out of the way if I need to reach in to grab something else; an aspect of EDC knives that I didn't really appreciate until I started carrying a knife this small. The small size also lends itself to nail nick opening: there are no thumb studs or cutout holes that would require the spine to protrude out from the handle in the closed position (compared to, e.g., many Spyderco knives), allowing this Gerber to have a thin and narrow profile. And despite my initial concern about not being able to deploy the knife one-handed, I've since concluded that to be a non-issue and this knife has convinced me to seriously consider nail nick knives for future EDC knives. One thing I don't like about the Gerber Mini is that the pocket clip doesn't "ride deep" such that the knife almost disappears when clipped into a pocket, but that's just me and such pocket clips may not matter to you. Blade: There's nothing all that special about the blade but nevertheless I've found that the knife is a perfectly adequate cutter. In fact, this knife went over a year without sharpening and it still cut okay for my average daily tasks. I recently used a pull through sharpener and the edge is now serviceable. I don't know what specific type of steel they are using but it's worked well thus far. Final thoughts: If your primary criteria for a knife is that it's small, stays out of the way, and is inexpensive, but you put little emphasis for a larger knife with quick deploy, the strongest type of lock, or the latest and greatest steel, take a good look at the Gerber Paraframe Mini. I've not come across many knives that will give you more bang for your buck than this Gerber, assuming the "bang" you're looking for is the benefits I've discussed above. As long as you understand the limitations and strengths of this little knife, and you think it will suit your needs, I would recommend this knife ESPECIALLY given the price. 4.5/5

Great little knife!
My husband said this is the best pocket knife ever. It's small yet does the job. Blade is nice and sharp. Stays sharp up to a year.

Great, everywhere pocket knife
A favorite knife! Inexpensive, very sharp and holds an edge, lightweight, and reliable. Unaffected by water, with a solid blade lock keeps it from accidentally closing. I keep one in my car, small cases, and my backpack and ,sadly, I’ve donated a couple to TSA because I forget they’re tucked away.

I am really impressed with this little knife from gerber. The torque screws on this knife are different than on other knifes, they will not wear off from tightening and loosing them to much. The knife is quality and well made. Easily slips into your pocket or clips onto your gear
