I debated about getting this "toy" for over a year. So glad I did, and will be getting another one once my 2nd son is a bit older. It really is the perfect thing to put in a child's room for naps and bedtimes. I got the Ladybug based on other reviews saying it was a newer model then the turtle. I have no idea if the turtle is as good, but from what some reviews said the Turtle has a yellow setting which I guess you can't see reflected on the walls. This ladybug has red, green and blue. There is an option for rotating through each color, and that one is my favorite. The red is a lower light level and would be best for if you are wanting a "night light" that wont over light the room. The stars show up, but are dimmer in appearance. The green and blue settings are brightest, but I find that the ladybug itself is also brighter, too bright for me to want as a night light in my son's room. The alternating is great because it doesn't stay on either color that long. It puts starts all over the room, not just on the ceiling. I also love that it automatically turns off after 45 min. There is no option to keep it on longer. But for me, I like that. I don't want it going all night. Hope this review helps!!

We just bought the ladybug for our 16 month old daughter for Christmas, and we couldn't be happier. We were able to catch it on sale for under $20 as well, which is even better. I love how the shell glows, it's really cute to look at, and my daughter LOVES the moon and the stars projected all over her ceiling and walls in her room at night. I realize it is recommended for 3 years and up, but we don't put this in her crib with her, and we don't let her play with it as a toy. I set it in the middle of her room on her floor after putting her to bed so she can look at the stars around her room while she falls asleep. I pick it up and put it away after she falls asleep. When we opened it and tried it out Christmas morning, my folks kept commenting on how they want one for their room at night, too! My mom kept saying it would be better if the stars rotated somehow, but we are happy with them being stationary. This is a perfect nightlight for kids of all ages (just don't let the younger ones play with it). We are expecting a son in May and we plan on getting him the turtle for his room as well. This will be our go-to kids gift for birthdays and Christmases from now on! I can't imagine any child who wouldn't want to have stars all over their room at night. Not to mention it isn't age-specific, so kids will be able to use it for many years. It's a really great gift!

I just bought this for my 6 year old son who is having a hard time transitioning to our new house. He's getting it for Christmas so not sure what he'll think but I love it. It far exceeds my expectations. From reading the other reviews, I was a little unsure. First of all came so quick from Amazon (as always) and I took it out of the box and there were NO CHILD PROOF WRAPPING. Sorry, but I hate opening things, I think we had 4 adults working overtime last Christmas to break open the toys. I actually took it out and turned it on and it worked. Even had the batteries in it which I didn't know about until I read on the box when I got it. Which is awesome because it saves me time (trying to hunt down a screwdriver small enough to fit it) I took it into the bathroom and turned it right on. It is soooo awesome. It has 3 different colors, and I thought the starts were really cute. Now, that being said it is NOT a toy. It is not a stuffed animal, if you want that buy one of those new pillow ones. This is hard plastic and has a soft head and feet. It is something that you would put on the floor or nightstand and leave there. Also, as far as finding constellations, I don't know. I don't really care about that and I'm sure my six year old won't really care either. He'll have more fun making them up. It does come with a cute little story book and shows how to find about 7 of them. If it does, great, if it doesn't fine. I guess if you are looking for something with actual constellations, you might want to go with something from like Discovery Kids or something. If you want something really cute and that looks good in a room buy this. I kind of wish I had one in my room. It's really soothing.

This is the second one of these we've purchased and they are really great for lighting up your kids rooms with cool stars and a moon on the ceiling! You can easily choose the different colors and they shut off automatically. The batteries last for a long time and they are durable so even if they get knocked off the bedside table or the kids play with it, they are hard to break. The lights are pretty on the walls but don't look directly into the unit as the leds bulbs are pretty bright. Our second unit will actually scroll through the colors but our old unit wont do that, not sure if it's supposed to but it does it when we press the power button quickly twice.

I couldn't be happier with this. I bought it for a baby with some sight problems, because I was looking for something to stimulate his vision, with strong contrasting colours but without overstimulating sounds. This met that requirement perfectly, and had surprising multi-purpose uses for a household that also includes a toddler. At night it sheds a pleasing, not-too-harsh light around a room in its three set colour options of red and black (the strongest), or blue, or purple. The star-shaped holes in the ladybird's plastic back reflect entrancing stars onto any surface they can reach. The baby loves the red and black, and the toddler loves the purple, so it's been in demand as a nightlight at different times of the evening, from day one. During the day it's alternately a sight-stimulus for the baby, held right up close to touch and look at, reflecting the stars onto Mum's face and clothes. It's tactile, too: the back is hard plastic but the limbs and head are soft to touch. When not in use as a teaching tool, it's a toy for the toddler who loves pressing the buttons that change its colour; literally, everyone's happy. It is fair to agree with the reviewers who point out that the light isn't really strong enough to put stars clearly on very high ceilings. But still, I'm pretty confident that no one who's seen this lovely nightlight in action much cares. It isn't cheap but for me it was worth every penny to give such a useful and lovely gift.

L'ho comprata nella speranza di far passare la paura del buio a mia figlia e ha decisamente funzionato! Effettivamente è rilassante guardare tutte quelle stelline proiettate sul soffitto, l'effetto è veramente molto bello e rende al meglio se posizionata al centro della stanza. Il peluche è morbido, è possibile scegliere fra tre colori di luci e un timer automatico permette che si spenga dopo 45 minuti. Consegna puntuale. Consigliato, i bambini ma anche i genitori ne andranno matti!

Voici plus d'un an que j'ai acheté une coccinelle et une tortue Cloud B pour mes deux petits garçons. Mon plus grand va avoir 5 ans et mon plus petit a 18 mois. Ces peluches sont très belles (j'ai tout de même une petite préférence pour la coccinelle) et mes enfants les adorent ! Mon fils de 5 ans adore contempler les étoiles quand il se couche et la rallume tout seul s'il se réveille dans la nuit, c'est vraiment le compagnon idéal pour une nuit paisible ... Nous l'emmenons partout avec nous (vacances, famille etc), mes enfants retrouvent un peu leur repère grâce à elle. Solide, étant donné le nombre de fois où mon fils la fait tombée du lit ! Les piles durent environ 1 mois (pour un usage quotidien).
