I just started potty training my daughter. I knew that poop shouldn't be expected within the first 1-2 days, but upon the ending of day 3 I started getting concerned. That's when I did an overnight delivery and this bottle arrived early the next morning. I wasn't sure how quickly this would work so I gave it to her at a time when my husband would also be home so that someone was always nearby if she needed help to the potty. I gave this to my daughter a little after 2PM and by 6PM she had not only self-initiated using the potty, but she had a successful bowel movement; then two more an hour later. Thankfully it wasn't a mess, they were fully formed and easy to dunp from her little potty into the big toilet. I'm glad this was effective and didn't result in a disaster/mess when she was finally able to do a bm on her own. Due to other reviews I wasn't sure what to expect. I would recommend going through your child's diet first to see if anything is causing the constipation, allergies, etc. I had tried coconut milk first, followed by fiber and yogurt and nothing was helping. Finally resorted to this and had success. I hope I won't actually need it again since my daughter has always been regular and was likely experiencing potty anxiety and how new this process is. I was concerned the flavor would be off-putting, so I gave her--her water and told her to drink it just in case. Surprisingly, she didn't need it. She has a bubble gum flavored medicine for upset stomach that she finds gross, so I was certain she'd hate this for the fennel and prune juice but was okay. Just be armed with something to cover up to the taste if you do have a toddler or older child who may find this bad tasting. Overall this did what I needed it to do. Worked within a reasonable time, was gentle and effective.

Buy it! It has been so incredibly helpful for my littles. Easy. No complaints on taste. Gets the job done!

Very gentle on the baby stomach. Works within several hours.

I have had a hard time rating this product because it works, and for that I feel it should be 5 stars, but it only works if you can get it in your baby. It tastes bad (like bitter prunes) so it’s hard to get my baby to take it with a willing spirit. She turns her head side to side and tightens her lips. If you want to mix it with food to disguise the taste, don’t! At least in my experience, this product only works it’s best on a mostly empty stomach. When I have tried to mix it with purées, it worked way less immediately and it seemed hardly at all. I only noticed it working well when given by itself. But by itself, it seemed very effective. So taste, 2 stars. Effectiveness, 5 stars.

I ordered this for my one year-old. Since transitioning to solids, she has been crying hard trying to push to go poo! I ordered this, gave it to her at 10:30am, she had a soft poo at 2:30pm same day! It works!

We’ve purchased Mommy’s Bliss Constipation Ease + Prebiotics three times now, and it’s something we always keep on hand. It’s been helpful for us when needed and works gently without causing discomfort. I also like that it includes prebiotics for added support. Overall, a reliable product we continue to come back to.

I received a small, one dose sample packet of this product in the mail. When we first started solids, my baby was super constipated. He grunted and just seemed so miserable. I remembered the sample packet I received, so decided to give it a try. The results were phenomenal! The next morning, he had a huge bowel movement, and was a happy baby. Since the sample packet worked so well, I bought this full sized product. This did not have the same results we experienced with the sample packet. I noticed that you can give 2 doses per day, so we gave 2 doses per day. No results. We gave 2 doses per day for 3 days and still had a constipated baby. We then decided to try to feed him prunes. After 2 meals of prunes, he was able to have a large bowel movement, and was happy again. In the future, we'll stick with prunes. I'm not sure why the sample dose worked so well after just 1 dose, but we did not experience the same results when I used the full sized product.

We keep this product in our medicine cabinet because sometimes even the little ones get backed up. This product is a little bit on the slow side to get going, but once it’s starts, it really helps them pass things along. They don’t seem to mind the taste and take it rather easily. I recommend this to any mommy’s or daddy’s that are looking for something to help their Littles with their tummies. The colour of the syrup is too dark and too thick with expiry near to oct,26 ...when bought last time in feb..the color was too lighter and the its not thick form

Received a bottle with expiry date in a month.
