Had been keeping my lettuce fresh for awhile! The lid is tricky and mine doesn't stay like it should. One person said put it in the dishwasher but . Don't have one of those... maybe hot water? And it is pretty big size. Too big for the veggies drawer so shelf space is required. Don't let either of those points discourage you. This is the best thing ever and your lettuce and veggies will love you!

I have had a lettuce keeper for years that I originally bought from Tupperware. I finally decided to upgrade because of concerns about the safety of plastic from years ago. I was a little hesitant to buy this product because I read that the size was so big. I don't agree. The bowl is the size it needs to be to hold a head of lettuce. It is a little oversized for the smaller heads I choose, but it has to be big enough to accommodate different sizes.It does keep lettuce fresh much longer than without it. It is nice to just reach in and grab some leaves for sandwiches. I may need to tear off small edges near the core as that is what turns first, but that is to be expected. Overall, the lettuce stays fresh and crisp long enough for me to use the whole head. I like that the plastic is clear enough to see through it.I was a little worried the first time I washed the lid because it warped slightly, even on the top rack of the dishwasher. It is pliable enough to snap on the bowl as intended and I haven't had a problem, but I will be extra careful to not put the lid on the bottom rack.I also bought some plastic knives at the same time so that I can cut lettuce for salads and minimize browning.

Have not had a chance to use it yet. A little larger than I like, but I am happy with it.

I owned something like this made by Tupperware years ago that was great, so I was delighted when I came across this. It's not worth the plastic it's made from, and it takes up too much room in the fridge. Zip-lock bags with a bit of paper towel inside works much better. Save your money.Good point — durable.Bad points — too large.— doesn't keep the lettuce fresh.— not worth the price

This is ok, a little disappointed, the lettuce fits perfectly, but the lid is flimsy, sometimes doesn’t stay on and I have not washed in the dishwasher. I would of liked the lid to close more securely.

Good product

Originally, I would have given this only 3 stars because the lid wouldn't stay on. It said handwash only, so I did, but one day I decided it wasn't worth handwashing and tossed it in the dishwasher. Lo and behold, when I used it next time the lid snapped on and stayed on! Still working fine after subsequent dishwasher rounds and now I'm pretty happy with it.
