These are some serious swords. Heavy and definitely can be used for fight practice. Sharp points (but not cutting sharp) on the end. Worked great for our stage production. Too heavy for kids younger than 8, tho. We painted the blades silver with Krylon Fusion paint (also sold on amazon) and they looked very realistic will last forever

I bought 2 of the swords to have fun with and get a little different style of exercise with. Had them a day and have beat the crap out of them sword fighting, striking the dead tree behind my house, and accidentally hitting the pull-up station I have in my back yard - they are still in great shape. They really are tough and I think that is why I have beatingnon them so much 😆 The weight feels good in hand and is well balanced. Not for kids though, if they strike each other they will definitely be hurting even with the blunt edges

This training sword is made of really durable polypropylene, which is a heavy-duty plastic, and has a good weight to it that allows it to approximate the feeling of holding a real blade. The detail is absolutely beautiful; the blade has an interesting pattern and shape but the hilt is incredible. There are cool decorations on the pommel, guard, and beginning of the blade as well as an amazing twisted, rope-like grip with a faux-leather texture. Overall, it is a well-built and really cool sword!

An absolute amazing and solid piece! Looks great and has some weight to it. The cross guard does tend to rub against your knuckle and can get annoying wielding it one handed and did come scratched up at the top. But it’s a training sword, its going to get beat up regardless. Overall, a great training weapon to add to your collection.

I don't know much about swords I'll admit, but in my limited knowledge I think this is very nice. It feels very well balanced. It's a saber, so it should be weighted a little more toward the tip. It feels very light and flows naturally when you swing. The very stylish braided grip seems like it might be uncomfortable, but so far no complaints. The texture actually helps you keep a firm grip and keeps it from sliding in your hand.

It's forward heavy and it's indestructible. Trees, steel armor, tables, hard pumpkins, concrete, people, doors, sticks, etc. You hit a tree with it and it does more damage to the tree than the sword. The handle is comfortable, and makes a great practicing sword.

This practice blade is very sturdy and was larger than I thought it would be. Good product.

I'd say this one is a bit lighter (maybe like 2lbs?) than the longsword (feels like 4lbs) one that I have, but it looks really cool! This sword can definitely do some damage if intended, so be careful with it... walls are easily bruised..... Seems to be decently balanced and looks impressive. The neighbourhood kids think I'm the coolest ;P

EDIT: The picture has been changed and is now accurate. Thus I'm removing the part where I described how inaccurate the old picture was. It is a bit heavier than I expected, because the blade is thicker than I expected, which is awesome. I feared it would be flimsy and easily bend, but no, this is a solid piece. Very satisfied.

Excellent training sword. Not appropriate for combat contact, but a beautifully weighted and sturdy trainer.
