Yep
This stuff is liquid magic if you have a leaky septic system. It does dry everything up and eliminates smells and odors. It does great it just takes a few days to work. Easy to use - just pour into the toilet and flush twice and wait 8 hours before using a ton of water (I use at night) and this stuff is amazing. Love it

Worked for me!!!
Well I was having serious issues with my septic for years. was told that drain field wasnโt working properly. So with the probability of having to spend thousands on drain field repair or replacement I was becoming desperate. After educating myself on the operation of a septic system ( most people like myself have no idea how they work) that is until you have a problem and raw sewage backs up in your house then you will be motivated to learn how to properly maintain and operate a septic system! I reluctantly decided to try some chemical remedies for my sick septic system. So I have been using this chemical treatment for a few years now and so far I havenโt had an issue(fingers crossed) in fact I just had a schedule pump out today either inspection and the septic tech said that my levels were normal and that the system appears to be in good shape! Hallelujah!! Call it snake oil or whatever you want but for me it works!

Good product
This product arrived in good condition, the container was not leaking, and it functioned as advertised. Helped cut down on the smell and seemed to help the drain field function a little better for a while, though I probably need to do another treatment or two. If you are looking for a chemical clean out solution, this one is pretty good for the money.

Saved our drainfield
11/11/25 update: almost a year and a half later since our issues started and i'm elated to share that everything is still working correctly! I still add one packet of Green Pig and a half bottle of this stuff every month. It may be unnecessary at this point, but I will probably do it as long as I own this home for peace of mind. I'm so grateful for these products!! ORIGINAL REVIEW: Our drainfield was so dead we burned through a septic pump twice- it just never shut off trying to push water out there. We were constantly having backups into our basement. We had the lines cleared of tree roots thinking that would help but it didn't. The second time our pump died was our wake up call that our system was broken, and the guy told us "if this doesn't work you need a new drainfield." We were looking at a $30k mound system. I read a lot about this and Green Pig products and we decided we had nothing to lose. We stopped putting water down our system for about a week. Showered at the gym, used the toilet at the gas station, put buckets in the sink to wash hands and dishes and dumped it out side. While we did that, every day I dumped a bottle of this stuff and a packet of Green Pig down our lateral lines and prayed. I also dumped some in the tanks and down the toilet (once each). We slowly started using water again, taking short showers, turning the water off while soaping up, and using the toilet but only flushing brown. I kept adding these products, but increased the time between treatments to every other day, and then every few days. We tested the system with a load of laundry. I sat outside by our pump and hear it turn on. And then it turned back off! It worked! We slowly ramped our water usage back up to normal, and I kept going out to listen to the pump and it was working normally as it should. It's been over 6 months and everything is working great. I now treat our system on a monthly basis with half a bottle this stuff and one packet of Green Pig. A plumber I spoke to said it's all just bacteria, and you can't add too much, so I will probably continue to do so indefinitely. I don't ever want to be back in that situation of worrying about our system. That was a nightmare I'm so glad is over.

DEFINATELY WORKS!!
I have a Septic tank in a red shale landscape area. When I built a house after we lost the original hose to a fire, the local inspector told us that we have the worst soil for septic systems, but back when it was put in the laws were nonexistent. If I were to put in a new one it would absolutely be a sand mound and would cost me tens of thousands of dollars! Well last fall my wife is taking a shower and I hear water coming out of the toilet and the tub is filling up and not draining, I knew I had a problem. I found this on here and knew I had to take a chance. I know exactly where my drain field sits and decided to pull the trigger and picked up a bottle of this. I believe the directions say to put this down into the septic once every 6 months. I bought 3 bottles and dumped it down at 2-month intervals over the course of 4 months and then just forgot about it. Until July when I was out at the lower end of the yard where some EXTREMELY thick grass that never dies was all dead. That grass just happens to be above the drain field. The last bottle went down at the end of April and I have no more issues with the septic backing up and not draining anymore! It was the best ROI on $60 I ever had! Cause the cost of a sand mound around here is 15-20 grand!!

Not working....
So far it hasn't worked. When I do two medium washing loads. The water comes up where the septic is. Have used 4-5 times every other week. Crossing my fingers it will work. We were advised we needed a new leach line. And it would cost $ 8,500. ๐

Worth it, solved my issue.
During a yearly inspection, the company that had been servicing my septic system for eight years (the system is 10 years old) stated that the drainfield is not leaching properly. A 12k estimate to fix it was sent, to which I started researching what could be causing this issue, given the age of the system, the size (six pods), and the fact that only two of us live in the house. So I dug down to the distribution box, and it appeared to have a lot of black sludge, indicating the filter was not being cleaned and proper bio balance. I ordered a 150' jet hose and ran drain pipes for hours, cleaning them out, and started using this concentrate directly into the distro box for six months. I now just drop tabs in the toilet once a month and will monitor, but our drainfield is running perfectly. A year later, it's still perfect...even the inspector agreed. Basically spent $300 is hose and cleaners with a days work....worth every penny.

Works
Works great. Try to pour as close to leach field as possible for best results. If you have a cleanout close to the pipes great. I used a hose to insure i poured it on my second tank closest to the leach field pipes. Took care of swapped field.

Great product
After being told we might have to have a new leach field costing thousands thought weโd try a more simple (and cheaper) option first. After only a few days it was working so much better. Will definitely use this as part of regular maintenance.

Works fantastic!
We were having drainage issues with our weeping system, and were dealing with an extremely wet area, and even some pooling up at ground level. We could barely cut the grass with a push mower or even walk In the area as it was so soft. Shortly after the first application we noticed a difference, still some pooling, but it was draining very quickly, and the soft wet area dried up too. After the second application, all seems to be draining properly, and is no longer wet or pooling! Saved us from having to have our system dug up and repaired. If you are having any drainage issues, try this product first before spending big $$ on repairs. We will likely do one more application to make sure all is working properly.
