UPDATE: I saw reviews displeased with battery life. Something that plays music for 15 minutes straight, lights up, they won't last forever if toy is used a lot. The original batteries lasted about a month with us, with constant use. Was easy to replace and change. This is my son's favorite toy still at 6 1/2 months. Calms, soothes, distracts, entertains. Great toy for car rides or to keep in diaper bag. He loves to study it, hold it, chew the wings, the ribbon antennas even the clip. (I make sure it is latched and closed to avoid pinching ). The music isn't annoying either, it is very relaxing. I definitely struck gold when I bought this toy. Definitely is a favorite, probably the most favorite toy of my sons still. ORIGINAL REVIEW: LOVE this adorable little toy! Beautiful lights and sounds (either waves or music) and volume control/on off switch. I bought originally to keep on his carseat all the time in addition to his other soft toys he has on his carseat handle. At least my carseat design, it is a little too heavy to do that (think depending on position of toy, because it is heavier it could possibly swing and *slightly* hit his face.) so I either keep in his lap or push it more to the side because it looks like it could hit his face if I put it on the very top of the carseat handle when we are in the car. Still a great toy and endless possibilities to clip onto things. Mobiles, play gyms, etc. I always have this in the diaper bag in case I forget toys. Great little toy!

As the title indicates, this is one of my favorite baby toy purchases so far. My boy is 5 months now, and this thing really soothes him (or distracts him) for a good amount of time. I also like it because of the soft pretty colors it emanates and the multiple sound options. This is a great toy all around. There is a nice selection of lullabies that are medium paced and peaceful sounding. Or you can choose to play the ocean waves white noise option. Or you can have only the glowing light. Or you can have both a sound and the lights at the same time. Turn off or on any of the selections by pressing the corresponding button. Two volume choices, and you can turn the device completely off if you want. Well constructed (read: sturdy), cute and versatile, I have nothing to say against it except for that it is heavier than it looks. The clip is strong, though, and I have no fears of the toy breaking apart or anything like that. I just had to write a review because of how helpful this toy has been to entertain my baby.

I ordered this for my 5 month old son because of the 15 minute run time. He, like many babies, enjoys the brilliant lights and music and it is nice to have something that runs for longer than 30 seconds. I plan to bring this on a trip with us. Some things I want to note: 1.) The wings are a firm silicone type of plastic, not as flexible as I thought but my baby still enjoys chewing them. 2.) The c-clip for this toy is VERY high quality and makes for a very solid connection. He also enjoyed chewing the clip (closed). 3.) I don't really use the nature sounds feature (it's just ocean waves) mostly because my baby uses this for play, not sleep. However, the music is very pleasant and soothing and does not annoy anyone even when we let it run the whole 15 minutes. 4.) We've had it for over a month and the batteries are still going strong. 5.) The toy is a bit on the heavy/bulky side and in the beginning he had a hard time holding on to it or really finding a place to grasp it but he is kind of figuring it out. We anticipate that once he can sit up independently, he will have it all figured out. Hope this helps! It's a very nice toy especially for a gift.

We use this all the time, since it is small, portable, is easy to put on and take off the car seat handle, and usually works to distract our 6-month-old during car rides (he hates car rides). It has chewable silicone wings that can light up. You can also choose ocean sounds, classical music, or silence. If you leave the music on, it automatically cycles through shortened versions of various really nice classical pieces (I used to be a classical pianist). The sounds are not "tinny" or annoying, unlike many other musical baby toys.The buttons are easy to push, so it's not possible to just give the toy to our baby during church unless you turn the entire toy off with the master switch in the back, in which case the lights won't turn on either. The master switch lets you choose between off, soft, and loud volume. We haven't had to change the batteries yet, despite using it frequently for short periods for over 2 months. Cons: - The chewable silicone wings are pretty stiff and hard, so my baby doesn't actually chew them very often. - The rest of the toy is hard plastic, not really squeezable or a fun texture.

This glow bug lights up, and has two sound options- a white noise style ocean sound or soothing music. Both are pleasant for the baby and for us adults who have to listen to it. The features are activated by buttons that are pretty easy for older babies to figure out, so they can have fun with that. The ocean sounds help calm my daughter before bedtime. I like that it comes on a loop and can be clipped onto anything like a play gym, stroller, or mobile. I like that the wings are a flexible, rubber material with various textures on it, as I’m sure my 3 month old daughter will want to chew on it eventually. I do think the body of the toy is a little hard for a dangling toy. If I hung this in the wrong way, my uncoordinated baby could whack it and send the thing crashing back into her head. The price is pretty good for something that’s basically a noise machine that kids can knock around and play with too!
