After watching the teeth of the little machine as I put the paper through, it played every note just above the note that I punched out. With further inspection, I realized that the print on not only the slip I was working with at the time, but all 10 of the slips were printed off center and higher up than the slips I had worked with previously. The first picture on the left is from this order, the second is from a previous project. The first one shows a slight off centered print.. seems trivial but its crucial in this hobby that the lines are as close to the center as possible. I was eager to get these in the mail since I'm working on an upcoming birthday project for someone and I only have a couple of weeks left. Hoping I can hear from the vendor at some point, I'd really rather not spend the same amount of money again for something that I should have gotten the first time I ordered them. Ordered another 10 from a different vendor, hopefully those are better. Really bummed out by this.
