OHTO Ceramic Roller Refill 0.7mm C-307P-Black (Japan Import)

I inherited a handmade pen and tried a g2 refill in it. It did not quite fit without the endcap not seating properly. So, I tried this and it worked great. A pretty common refill size and OHTO makes very nice writing instruments. Writes more smoothly than my watermans... The ink itself is quite dark and contrasty. A very good quality refill.

Bold line and very smooth.

Original quality ink refill from Japan. Came encased in the packing with seal and then additionally wrapped for shipment to preserve it well. The water based ink works well on most paper, of course more porous paper tends to feather the ink when writing, but it dries fast on denser paper as well. The color is a bold black which contrasts nicely on ivory or bleached papers. I tend to journal for hours and the special barrel contributes to its reliability and consistency. The .7 mm is my personal favorite as it has a balance between writing fluidity and changes in wiring style for more decorative writing.

Im using this refill in a Tactile Turn standard side click pen. This refill is the perfect size for this pen, no trimming or taping necessary, no wobble from the needle, its a perfect fit. It glides smoothly on paper, and overall I would say this writes "OK". I am still on my first day using this refill, however I have had a couple instances where the ink skips, or will stop completely for about a word and a half while writing. I'm not sure if it needs a little bit of writing to break it in, but I would say that a high quality refill like this should be ready to go out of the gate. On a personal note, the ink is not as dark as others I have seen, although nothing that would impact legibility, just a lighter shade of black, maybe more like a dark graphite color. The packaging was excellent for this product, and I have no doubts this could be tossed into any sort of box or envelope and mailed without damage.

This refill is very smooth and has dark black ink. High quality refill. Update: Was great for about 3 weeks then stopped writing. Should last more than a month in my opinion. Won’t buy again

I took a chance and ordered this refill for my Marvy Saint Tropez Classique Roller Ball Made in Germany ink pen. This OHTO Ceramic Roller Refill 0.7mm C307P-Black (Japan Import) fits exactly. So glad I ordered it. It writes easily. No skips, dark black ink flows smoothly. The 0.7 mm tip is perfect. I have had my Saint Tropez Classique for years. They are now made by Marvy Uchida in Japan and only come in the "petite" size. Different style than what I have, and the petite refill will not fit my pen.

Great value for money. Writes very well. Not sure on longevity but the initial testing it writes a nice deep black.
