Will they really work on non- porous chalk board

Yes. But you have to “season” your chalkboard. This process goes for any liquid chalk you use. To season your chalk board take a stick of regular chalk and rub the side of the chalk left to right on the board and then up and down. Do that two or three times. Then wipe it down. Now your board is ready!

Will these still write easily on a vertical surface?

I've used them almost exclusively on a bathroom mirror. Some of the colors don't work as well but I think that could be rectified by letting the ink get to the tip and then making it vertical again. But I love the pens so it's worth it

Are they as bold as they look in the projects shown?

Most of the colors are bright and bold. Some are not as bold as others. For example the yellow is not as bright.

Do these come off of mirrors?
