How is it 80 watt with only 12 LEDs?

All of these cheap bars advertise high ratings and none them really are. It also says 8000lm and I can can tell you it is not. I have a 2000lm flashlight that puts this bar to shame. It’s a great little bar if you need light in a small space, but that’s about it. It’s makes a great reverse light or work light.

Re: have 36 volt golf cart with older batteries, what voltage lights do you recommend?

You can use lights slightly smaller than 36V, but you need to install a fuse to ensure the safety of the line.

Can these be installed on a trailer?

I don't see why not...especially if you install a waterproof switch and keep it on the trailer, and not take the wiring into the vehicle
