this is a great light and very dependable , I had bought a cheaper brand light and it died just from sitting in the cabinet not even getting used. This light is 3 years old has all the different light settings and always works

Awesome light battery last most of the day. I charge it when I’m not using it. Magnets are strong the 100% brightness is really bright and I usually run it at 50-75% Con - the magnets in the handle work great. The surface of the handle on paint is a bad idea. It WILL scratch. This is the only issue I have found using this light.

The light is super heavy duty. I feel like if I accidentally drove over this light, it would not break. I use the light to identify swirls/scratches on a car's paint for detailing and I can see why so many people are biased in this brand! The light has many different settings for brightness and also color temperature so it helps when working with different colored cars. The hardest color to see is when working on a white colored car and this light was still able to get the job done. The design on this light is perfect. Even though I did not have a light tripod, instead, a camera tripod, I was able to zip tie the light onto the tripod and it held just perfectly. It is heavy duty enough to not break but also light and versatile enough to be able to hang off a couple of zipties! The only problem I have against this product is I wish Scangrip developed a better battery for these guys!

Used this light two times and now it isnt working

The light is unique, and the design of the unit. Even the handle on the back side. The handle is cleaver, which acts also as a stand, but I don't like it. I think a smaller unit is only needed. It may be they want a large gray surface around the light to give the proper correction. But not for me. And I don't like the multi purpose switches on the back. Separate marked switches would be preferable, and for the price. I don't use these things enough to remember which does what.

Awesome light. Use it for paint correction as well as lighting interiors for detailing.

Plugged in, mine only runs for 30 minutes and the light starts to flicker at 75% light output. You would expect it to run full time plugged into the wall. I've owned it for a year now and this is the first time I've tried to use it while painting a bedroom. For the price I should have purchased a plug-in LED from the big box store that would light continually!
