This is a very sturdy case so my HDD drive is well protected. The fit is perfect so there is no chance of the drive bouncing around while in the case. There are pockets for two SD cards and room for cables and adapters. This is an excellent case so I give it my solid recommendation.

I bought this for use in transporting a WD Elements 4TB HDD, the other size WD HDD's are all the same size so it will it them all. I purchased this to replace the original soft case I bought from WD that they don't sell anymore. That one lasted about 12 years or more of carrying it in my briefcase to and from my office every day. This hard case is a good size, the drive fits without too much additional space, it is well padded and hard enough to protect the HDD. The interior has 2 sides, one to strap in the HDD, the other for accessories such as a cable. It is roomy enough to carry a bit more. This was not advertised as a 2 HDD case. The side where the HDD straps in has additional padding between the Drive and the exterior hard case. The exterior is a plastic formulation. A padded flap then sits on top of the Drive to the interior of the case. It appears well made, the zipper has a small handle to open and close, there is even a small metal ring attached to a cloth strap sewn into the other end of the zipper and a small carabiner included. It looks like the Drive will be well protected as there is a close fit to the height. There is about 3/4" to 7/8" additional space to the long axis, but the width is a snug fit. An elasticized band hold the drive tightly, on the opposite side of the case there is a half high net with elastic band top to hold a cable or other small items. I am pretty particular when it comes to items like this and I would recommend this case. I take care of my things, I think a HDD would survive a short drop without damage but this is NOT rated for any drops. I would trust the case if a minor amount of liquid hit it, such as a light rain for a short time if you carried this in your hand from building to car lets say.

Very classy way to carry your hard drives around. Provides nice protection inside my rolling brief case and has space to store connecting wires.

Internal Cushioning is thick, and outer shell is strong enough to keep the drive safe from physical impact. I have bought a 2nd unit afterwards. The ribbed texture of the internal cushioning and the elastic strap hold the drive firmly inside the case, so that it doesn't slide around. My Transcend and WS My Passport Ultra HDD, both fits inside nicely. There's also a mesh pocket for the cable storage, which is nicely separated by a flap inside not to scratch the drive while being stored inside the case.
