Great slim bag with a weird laptop holder
I spent more time than I would care to admit looking for a solid backpack, but good ones are expensive and I didn't feel like buying a few to try then return. I wanted a backpack for my office job to carry my tablet, laptop, work binders/folders, blender shaker bottles, and small knick-knacks to and from work and between different offices. These were my requirements: - Holds my laptop in a sleeve (preferably padded/protected) - Tablet sleeve big enough to hold my Kindle Scribe Colorsoft - Stylish and slim with plenty of room - Good quality without breaking the bank - Side water bottle cup holders with straps to hold down my insulated blender bottle shakers - Plenty of pockets for smaller items (gum, chargers, charging blocks, pens, etc.) - Something I could use for an overnight or couple day trip I hated it for the first 20 minutes I owned it because I thought it did not have a general large interior compartment area with folder dividers as shown in the product images. However, I quickly realized the zipper track blended in too well with the bag and I simply missed it (it's right in front of the larger top handle). This backpack nailed it. Even the tablet compartment hold my kindle scribe securely, though I'll likely only use that when traveling as it's a tad too snug. The only thing I don't care for is how the laptop compartment is only a side entrance zip and the "sleeve" is a plush arm that secures the laptop in place with velcro that you have to remove and reattach every time you move your laptop in it. That seems a bit odd and is slightly tedious to do, but I assume it's for easy access; they should really include that in the pictures of the product. Also, I understand that the backpack essentially zips in half to open up 180 degrees for quick airport security laptop checks, but I almost never fly, so that may be useless to me. I've read other reviews that claim the bag opens up on its own because of this feature. I've only had it a week so far but that hasn't happened to me yet and I don't see how it would unless the bag was packed full and only partially zipped shut. Overall I love this bag, it meets all of my requirements and then some. It also redistributes the weight well due to its longer size, so more weight in the bag somewhat feels like less. Highly recommend.

Great pack
This is a really good pack. Well made and tons of room. It worked great for my plan flight. Spot for your laptop or iPad. Lots of pockets for stuff. I had enough room for even a change of cloths just in case. Rode well on the back going through the airport.

Really Good Size Backpack For College Med Students
This is an absolutely solid backpack I bought for my son replacing an old one. The durability on here is incredible from the stitching to the zippers. Much better than I expected to be honest. The size of this is ideal he is in medical school and carries a lot of gear and it holds everything from the laptop to the lab books. The color is neutral, he picked it, so that is a plus. He has been using it since he got it and said that the straps are also super comfortable on his shoulders a big improvement from what he had. I will update with photos later.

Great Backpack and under $100.
This is probably the most useful backpack I have ever owned. Sturdy, comfortable to wear with myriad options for storing your gear. I will say that if you use the long side pockets for anything other than a few cables or flat items, it can prevent you from fitting a water bottle into the mesh pockets. And if your pack is relatively full of stuff it will not fit easily under an airplane seat, which as you know, shrink by the day. So choose your contents accordingly. Also- consider the red or blue trimmed one. So many people use THIS black backpack, I had a client almost walk off mine from a gig the other night, and found myself wanting the red one. I'm gonna tour America this summer and this pack is gonna go the distance.

Great bag! Great value! But not water proof if that’s important to you
It’s exactly what’s advertised. Great bag, holds more than you think it should, sturdy, comfy, can be a professional work laptop bag or a day hikers bag at the same time. Why only 4 stars? It’s not particularly water proof. Got caught in the rain walking to my car and even with an umbrella, the bag got a little damp. When I got home, the insides weren’t soaking wet or anything, but the inside fabric was damp and in contact with my stuff. To be fair, this bag was not advertised as water proof… there is no deception here. And for the price, it’s still a great buy… but the speed at which water got in the bag is a big negative.

Excellent bag for daily coummute and, likely, travel if you need
My work laptop was upgraded from a 15" to a 17" model which just wouldn't fit in my current SwissGear pack which I've had for over a decade. The brand is high quality, well produced, and durable. Never had an issue with my current one that I've used both for my work commute and travel, so when it came time to look for something that could carry the new laptop, I looked to SwissGear. The only real issue I had was the pocket arragnement having an exclusive laptop carry section to make travel through TSA checkpoints easier, but as I don't intend to take my worklaptop on trips (vacation) I didn't need that - but all their existing bags are designed this way it seems. No biggie as there's ample room in the bag for the stuff I noramally carry to/from work and added side pockets are nice as are the very well padded straps and back. Highly recommennd the brand as a whole.

What is your backpack purpose? Repeat customer for Swissgear products
This is my favorite brand of computer backpack. My household has been using this brand for over 20 years. For many years they were used daily. The inner liner on the tiny pocket of my previous 20 year old backpack finally tore so I purchase this one as a replacement. Mainly used for travel and anyplace I have to tote a laptop too. So far, things are going well. I will update if that changes. Material and workmanship: Sturdy and quality. I understand sometimes there can be defects and I would hope they stand by their warranty. So far all is good. Size: This is a good size. Small enough to fit under an airline seat, big enough to hold the essentials. I use mainly for all types of travel. I can fit a change of clothes, medications, umbrella, bose headphones, airpods, water bottle, snacks, wipes, tissues, etc. I travel with a macbook air always and sometimes a heavy lenovo laptop. It holds both. Pockets and design: This is a slightly different design than my last one. I went with this one because it was on sale. For the overall purpose ( to haul all my stuff around,) it serves the purpose. I kinda wish I spent a little more and got the similar model I had before. -The laptop compartment has a padded velcro adjustable strap. I do not know if this is necessary but it is there. It is removable. Compartment is roomy enough to hold 2 laptops. This compartment only has a "one side" zipper. It does not zip all the way around. I found this a little annoying since my last one had a zip around. I am sure I will adjust to it but I prefer to pull my laptop out of the top instead of out the side. The downfall of one zipper, you can not zip tie or put a lock on the zippers. Depending on where we were traveling, we would zip tie the zippers. It does have a tiny pocket on the top. Not quite sure what I would use that for. - Next compartment for a tablet. It is padded around the sides and has mesh in the middle. This one unzips all the way around. TSA friendly design. Have not tried this out with two laptops yet so I don't know how that will go with tsa. The tablet pocket is small so maybe ipad mini size? The ipad pro would not fit. They could have designed this to be bigger. I was thinking of getting a laptop sleeve and using this compartment for my macbook air when I travel with 2 laptops. - main compartment: has a mini pocket for phone but I use for my airpods. Has a divider for books, papers or whatever. I actually use it for wipes. Can fit a change of clothes in a packing cube, medications, headphones, snacks and everything I need. There is a mesh zipper pouch on the top. This is great for cords or whatever. - top front pocket- I have a love hate relationship with this one. Easy to empty your pockets and phone into when going through tsa but a pain to get stuff back out. You have to dig around a little. I will probably need to separate things in little bags to make this pocket work for my needs. I miss having a small top pocket for things like chapstick and eye drops. Making two pockets, iphone sized and a small one for little things, would have been my ideal solution. - bottom front pocket: this one is fine. Big enough for epipen, inhaler, key hook, hand sanitizer, tissues, gum, some toiletries, misc stuff. Also has some loops on outer part of pocket. - side zipper pockets: there are small size zipper pockets on each side that are deep. These are ok. Weird shape. Can fit a small umbrella or a standard plastic water bottle. Space for other things but I don't have that many skinny long things going in a backpack. Pocket is deep so if you wanted to put money or something way down at the bottom of this pocket, this would be hard for anyone to just grab out of your bag. You can not fit a water bottle or similar item in the mesh pockets on the outside of these ones if there is stuff in the pockets. - mesh stretchy water bottle pockets: The pockets are a little small. These can hold a smaller sized water bottle. There is a strap to help secure. It would be better if there was a loop at the top to hook a carabiner on it, to secure a water bottle. I have lost a water bottle before out of this pocket. Sometimes I use the strap to tie a sweatshirt or raincoat to it. Backpack Straps: padded, thick work well. Have a few loops for whatever. Back is padded enough. Comfortable enough to carry around for a few hours. Overall, a good backpack. When shopping for a backpack, think of your purpose and what you want to put in it. Does it have the right sized pockets for your needs? The price was right for this one and I will use it until it breaks.

Big and roomy...well thought out
Bought this bag to be my main work backpack after using a a standard Ogio one, which did an OK job of carrying my stuff but always felt so heavy considering the minimal contents. What I love about this backpack is the organization and pockets. The ScanSmart feature is great! I've gone through airport security so much quicker by zipping open the compartment and laying the bag on the belt with my laptop in the 'screen' side and my iPad in the facing pocket. No hassles from TSA. No more pulling laptops or iPads out and then having to retrieve them and shove them back in while putting on shoes and belts. It sounds like such a small thing but it makes me happy to be more efficient. There are plenty of compartments and they can store so much stuff. The 'main' compartment has dividers that allow you to organize your contents (I put my GoGrid in one of the slots, file folders in another. There is also a mesh pocket that I store my MacBook Air 'brick'. What this does is rather then sitting in the bottom of the bag and weighing it down, it sits in this suspended pocket which helps with the weight of the bag. When I'm in a pinch and am exceeding the carryon limit, I can even get my medium sized Coach purse in so I can meet the 'two item limit'. There are two side pockets for water bottles or a travel umbrella as well as another pocket that lays under them which the manufacturer suggests storing the power brick. I find that if you've got a full water bottle, you probably would want to stay away from storing a bulky item in that pocket. There's another 'kangaroo' pocket on the front of the pack to store small odds and ends. I put my Bose noise canceling headphones in here which makes them easily accessible when I want to get to them and keeps them out of the way. I like the heavy duty grab handle on the top of the bag which is convenient when you just need to grab and go. There's an MP3 pocket with a headphone feed which I don't use but for those folks who do, I'm sure it's a nice feature. The material is very high quality and heavy duty as are the zippers and clips. It's a well thought out bag. I'm giving this 5-stars because it is such a great backpack but beware...it is VERY large and a bit on the weighty side even when empty. I will admit that even when I've loaded it up for my daily commute on BART, it doesn't feel nearly as heavy as my previous 'trim' backpack because the ScanSmart is so well designed. I do get comments from my co-workers who make fun of my massive backpack but I don't care because it does the trick. For my Europe vacation later this summer, this backpack will be staying home because it is way too big to be used as a daypack and we have strict size limits on what we can take on our tour (I have bought the PacSafe Metrosafe 350 which I will review after my trip). Great product, nice pockets and organizational features.

Excelente mochila

Shoulder strap systemとAirflow back systemによるものです。 このメーカーしか,ぼくには合わないと確信しました。ただ,大きすぎるのと,床に置くと前に転ぶのが,気に入りません。まあ,仕方が無いと思っています。
