The batteries on our previous smoke alarms finally fizzled, so we were very pleased to discover that exactly the same alarm was still being manufactured. This removed the need to change all the fittings as the alarm was exactly the same, and would suggest that it is a reliable and popular model. This particular alarm came as a 2 pack which also made it very economical.

We have recently moved into a property and the smoke detector low battery alarms went off. I bought these to replace what was already there because they are activated by fitting onto the base plate. I did not want to fit new base plates so was pleased when I saw the same make and model were available. They are easy to fit, were a good price and came quickly but I cannot comment on the 10 year battery life.

The easy to install smoke alarm has a fantastic long battery life with a volume that can wake the dead just as well as we are all sound sleepers. Simple to test now and again.

Have been using Fire Angels for years now = would not consider an alternative

Ordered and installed two of these. Recently one started off for no reason and would not stop. No smoke, dust or anything to trigger it. Had to hit it with a hammer to stop it. Contacted customer service who demanded a receipt which I supplied. Customer service said that because I purchased the units from a third party seller on Amazon they were "unable to assist me further" Not only was the unit clearly unreliable I found Fire Angel's attitude quite inappropriate. I will never buy another Fire Angel product. There are more reliable products available!
