Very handy if you see a lot and use needles and pins the magnet it vey strong and gets even the smallest of pins off the floor or carpet . Sewers this is a good buy

Better then magnetic pick up tools costing 3 times the price. Great value for the money. Simple to use. Would recommend this pick up tool over all the others out there.

I got this for my electrician boyfriend as he really wanted one for when he drops tools from atop a ladder. The magnet is very strong and easily picks up everything he needs. It’s just not very long, and the tip isn’t very slim so it doesn’t fit into the tighter spaces he was hoping for. All in all, a genius tool though !

The only negative is that, at about 7 1/2 inches when compact, it's fairly large. The positives start with an excellent build quality, a good grip that won't slip out of your hand, a rod that extends to about 25 1/2 inches and stays very stiff, and a magnet tip that is quite powerful. With a pocket clip, It looks professional, and using it is intuitive. Finally, as shown in the short video, I was able to lift a steel and rubber hammer.

For me best magnet like this on the market. Hard to find a good one like this.

This tool was exactly what the doctor ordered. I was attempting to remove the distributor gear from a VW type 4 engine, and it was being very stubborn, I had attempted to remove it by turning the engine upside down, it is on an engine stand, to see if it would fall out, but it was in there. Then I got the idea of using a magnet to get at it, it is recessed in the block, about 3 inches, so I scoured the garage, and found my box of magnets, and attempted it again, still no luck. That sucker was in there. I ordered a neodymium bar magnet, thinking that should do it, they were super strong, still no luck. Then, I found this tool, so I figured, "what the heck" I will give it a shot, since the next step was to split the cases to get it out. 5 minutes after the driver delivered it, I had the gear out. This tool has some serious power, it also has a large surface area. Needless, to say, I was pleased. So if you need a powerful magnetic pick-up tool, this is the one to get. The only that I can think of that would make it perfect, is if the telescoping wand, had some way to lock it and the length you need, as I attempted to pull the gear out, it telescoped to it's full length, which is not a big deal, but still it would be nice
