Essential for audiophiles
I was really glad to discover that Shure offers these silicone triple-flange tips in addition to the standard memory foam. While the foam tips offer excellent noise isolation and are generally quite comfortable, I found the soft foam ended up muffling low-bass notes, resulting in a distinctly fuzzy sound on anything particularly bass-heavy. These tips, on the other hand, produce a nice, clean sound over the whole frequency range, while still providing good isolation as well. Additionally, when using the foam tips, if I am not playing audio through the headphones but want to leave them in my ears, I find outside sounds are distinctly muffled, making it harder to hear or understand people without pulling the headphones out. On the other hand, the triple-flange tips still do reduce the outside noise level effectively, but without muffling or distorting certain frequencies, making them able to function similarly to good-quality earplugs with a fairly even frequency response when not playing music and such. With the triple-flange tips, there is also more flexibility in how much isolation is desired, as they can be inserted less or more firmly to adjust how tight a seal is formed, which can't really be done well with the foam tips. A couple of notes: Some people find these tips more uncomfortable than the foam tips. My general experience is that this is true initially, but if one spends a bit of time getting used to them they will soon become more comfortable, so it's worth trying to wear them for a little while before giving up. These tips also have a much longer shaft than the default tips, which can cause the headphones to stick out of the ears more, however I found this was easily remedied by simply snipping off the excess shaft of the tips using some scissors, so they now sit flush in my ears the same as the original tips.

Comfortable and Noise Isolating
After getting the Shure SE846s and trying out all the sleeves, I found the triple flange ones to be my favorites. They sit super deep into the ear, which can take some getting used to but they're really comfortable and noise isolating. Of all the options (and they give you a TON), I liked the triple flanges the most since the sound is so clear, they sit very comfortable in my ear despite a bump in the ear canal, and and they very efficiently isolate the vast majority of external noise. I also like these because they're cheap enough that I can replace them as often as I want. After some time they form to the inside of your ears, which means they'll end up folding in on themselves to mimic the shape of your ear. This is good since it's comfortable, but after some time they get a bit loose, and I like to replace them regularly. These are affordable enough that you can replace them as often as you want, either it's monthly or quarterly or even longer than that. Really, you don't have to replace them ever, but I like to do it just to make sure the fit is maintained for a long time. I highly recommend these if you also like the triple flange sleeves that come with your Shures.

Very Good sleeves for a tight fit
I switch between these and foam plugs depending on my listening situation. These have absolutely no negative affect on the sound of my earphones. In fact, they help because a tight fit is absolutely essential. These work great while working out and keep my earphones secure. They also keep out extraneous noise. They are a great fit but must be kept clean with a little rubbing alcohol occasionally. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I was looking for, works great with my UM Pro 30 Westones
I had a old pair of Westones that were given to me (I think a single armature model) and included in the gift were triple flange ear tips. I've been looking for a new set of triple flange ear tips ever since the old ones wore out. I think these were likely the exact same ear tips I had previously and they're amazing. Honestly I can't believe Westone doesn't sell a triple flange ear tip of their own because these increase the bass performance of their in-ear headphones so much. They seem to seal the bass in, kind of like a closed back headphone. The Westone UM Pro 30's feel more balanced this way and less overly bright. I had a pretty difficult time finding the specs on the UM Pro 30 nozzle size. These tips do fit rather snuggly, so a small trick to get them on but I don't think they'll fall off randomly so it works just fine. The material used for these tips appears to be of high quality rubber. I don't think it's silicone but It's possible I am mistaken. I definitely recommend these ear tips! Worth every penny for my personal bass response preferences.

Transformed my SE215 earphones
I was initially underwhelmed with my SE215 earphones, but they seemed to perform up to the average review I had read, so I assumed that was just what you could expect at that price point. The bass was lacking, as many noted in their reviews, but they were better than what I had been using. I was also disappointed with the level of sound isolation, which drove my purchasing decision. Shure claimed up to 37 dB, and I can tell you that I was not getting anything near that. I did the usual messing with various sleeve designs, and again assumed that was just what you get. Then I came across these sleeves. My first try with them, right out of the package, produced an awkward fit and lots of pain. I went back online and started reading. The trick that worked for me was trimming the stalk even with the largest flange (I cut off approximately 1/8"). At that length, they just seal with my ear canals when the earphones are locked into place. With the proper seal, and much better sound isolation, I have completely changed my opinion of the SE215s. The bass is robust, and I can hear everything at much lower volumes--I never have to turn up the volume past 1/3 now. It has been a tremendous transformation in the performance of these earphones. Needless to say, I'm pretty pleased with the product.

I've tried all Shure's earbuds in all their variations and sizes and, for me, these are the best fit by a country mile, as they provide the best comfort and sound isolation. I cut off the smallest of the 3 cones for a better fit. It's also worth watching the short video clips on YouTube of how to fit Shure earbuds properly. In a nutshell, reach round the back of your head with your opposite hand and pull your ear back and up before inserting. It does make a massive difference!
